Test Engineer Avionics Integration (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you verify and integrate avionics subsystems at test bench and aircraft level. You also support combined test levels in System of Systems testing across avionics integration.

Your tasks

• Review designs and define test strategies for system verification
• Develop test cases, automated scripts and sophisticated test procedures
• Analyse test data, identify deviations, solve complex system problems and report safety-relevant findings
• Support the definition of next-generation test bench requirements and validation tools

Your profile

• Master’s degree or Diplom in computer science, aerospace engineering or a related field
• More than two years of professional experience in aerospace
• Good knowledge of avionics systems is required
• Knowledge of mission systems, datalinks or sensors is particularly valuable
• Professional experience in integration and testing activities is an advantage
• Programming skills are required, ideally in Python, C/C++ or ATL
• ISTQB certification is a plus
• Business-fluent English skills; good German skills are a plus
• Passion for complex systems and continuous learning, especially regarding test and system engineering methods, processes and tools
• Ability to work in international teams, solve complex problems and work temporarily under pressure
