Gesucht wird ein Industrial System Engineer für Modelling & Simulation. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Entwicklung und Validierung von Simulationsmodellen für industrielle Prozesse sowie der Nutzung der Ergebnisse zur Verbesserung der Systemleistung und operativen Planung.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Entwicklung und Validierung von Simulationsmodellen für industrielle Prozesse, z. B. Materialfluss, Ressourcenplanung und Montageabläufe
• Durchführung von Sensitivitätsanalysen und Szenarienbewertungen zur Identifikation von Optimierungspotenzialen
• Implementierung und Anpassung von Simulationssoftware und -tools
• Analyse von Produktionsdaten und Ableitung von Erkenntnissen zur Verbesserung der Systemleistung
• Anwendung von Product Process Resource (PPR)
• Erstellung von 3D-Line-Layouts und Industrial Mockups sowie Durchführung virtueller Inbetriebnahmen
• Zusammenarbeit in multidisziplinären Teams, z. B. Produktion, IT sowie Forschung und Entwicklung, zur Integration von Simulationsergebnissen in die operative Planung
• Dokumentation von Modellen, Simulationen und Ergebnissen
• Präsentation von Ergebnissen und Empfehlungen gegenüber internen Stakeholdern
• Beitrag zur Weiterentwicklung von Modelling-&-Simulation-Methoden und -Tools innerhalb des Unternehmens

Ihr Profil

• Mindestens Bachelorabschluss in Maschinenbau, einem technischen Studiengang oder Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen beziehungsweise eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mindestens auf Bachelor-Niveau
• Tiefgehendes Verständnis der Produktionstechnik ist zwingend erforderlich
• Erfahrung mit CAD-Tools ist zwingend erforderlich
• Erfahrung mit Plan Simulation ist von Vorteil
• Erfahrung mit Programmiersprachen ist wünschenswert
• Deutsch und Englisch mindestens verhandlungssicher
• Starke analytische Fähigkeiten und Problemlösungskompetenz
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit

We are looking for an Industrial System Engineer for modelling and simulation. The focus is on developing and validating simulation models for industrial processes and using the results to improve system performance and operational planning.

Your tasks

• Develop and validate simulation models for industrial processes, e.g. material flow, resource planning and assembly workflows
• Perform sensitivity analyses and scenario evaluations to identify optimization potential
• Implement and adapt simulation software and tools
• Analyze production data and derive insights to improve system performance
• Apply Product Process Resource (PPR)
• Create 3D line layouts and industrial mock-ups and perform virtual commissioning
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, e.g. production, IT and research and development, to integrate simulation results into operational planning
• Document models, simulations and results
• Present results and recommendations to internal stakeholders
• Contribute to the further development of modelling and simulation methods and tools within the company

Your profile

• At least a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a technical discipline or industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification at least at bachelor’s level
• An in-depth understanding of production engineering is mandatory
• Experience with CAD tools is mandatory
• Experience with Plan Simulation is advantageous
• Experience with programming languages is desirable
• At least negotiation-level proficiency in German and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
