Systems Engineer Mission Data Generation (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

HESYS has 25 years of experience in demanding technical projects. Our focus is on aerospace and high-tech environments. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you work on Ground Support Systems for military aircraft platforms. The focus is on mission data generation software, avionics requirements, Electronic Warfare support and technical system documentation.

Your tasks

• Analyze avionics system design, system requirements and customer requirements
• Define and adapt design requirements for mission data generation software and workflows
• Further develop functions for RF emitter data extraction, mission data programming and data checks
• Create technical documentation such as software requirements, interface documents and test plans
• Develop automated executable tests for technical specification verification
• Prepare and participate in meetings with customers and internal stakeholders

Your profile

• Master’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering, aerospace, computer science or similar
• Several years of experience in IT, information systems, aerospace or systems engineering
• Knowledge of systems and software engineering lifecycles across relevant project phases
• Knowledge of Electronic Warfare, self-defensive systems, radar or electronic support systems
• Detailed knowledge of MS Office and DOORS; Jira, Confluence and Git are beneficial
• Negotiation-level English; German skills are an advantage
