Software Engineer Qt / Cross-Platform GUI (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

You will develop modern cross-platform software solutions with a focus on graphical user interfaces, modular architectures and maintainable application structures. The role combines frontend and backend development in a technical engineering environment.

Your tasks
• Develop a cross-platform GUI application based on Qt Quick, QML, C++ and CMake
• Design and further develop a reusable UI library for multiple target platforms
• Implement software components covering frontend and backend logic
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests for reliable software quality
• Ensure modularity, scalability and maintainability of the application architecture
• Contribute to design decisions with a focus on usability and practical user experience

Your profile
• Degree in software engineering, computer science, aerospace or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in professional software development
• Strong knowledge of Qt framework, QML, C++ and CMake
• Experience in developing modular and cross-platform software applications
• Business fluent English skills, German is a plus
• Independent working style and ability to quickly adapt to new projects and technologies
