Sie arbeiten an der Entwicklung und Absicherung von Simulationslösungen für moderne Antriebssysteme im Luftfahrtumfeld. Dabei verbinden Sie Systemverständnis, Modellbildung und Validierung in einem technischen Entwicklungsprojekt.

Ihre Aufgaben
• Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung von Simulationsmodellen für hybride und elektrische Antriebssysteme
• Aufbau und Auslegung von Systemarchitektur- und Sizing-Modellen auf Basis technischer Anforderungen
• Weiterentwicklung von Methoden, Prozessen und Toollandschaften für eine robuste Simulationsumgebung
• Integration modularer Simulationsplattformen auf Antriebssystemebene mit angrenzenden Systemen
• Erstellung und Pflege von Subsystemmodellen für elektrische, thermische und energierelevante Funktionen
• Test, Verifikation, Validierung und Dokumentation von Modellen anhand realer Testdaten

Ihr Profil
• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Physik, Luft- und Raumfahrt, Elektrotechnik oder vergleichbar
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Engineering sowie in Modeling und Simulation
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Python und MATLAB
• Erfahrung mit Simulink, Simscape oder vergleichbaren Simulationstools ist von Vorteil
• Kenntnisse von Luftfahrtantriebssystemen und Fuel-Cell-Systemen sind wünschenswert
• Verhandlungssicheres Englisch sowie strukturierte und teamorientierte Arbeitsweise

For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

You will support the development and validation of simulation solutions for advanced propulsion systems in an aerospace environment. The role combines system understanding, model development and validation in a technical engineering project.

Your tasks
• Develop and enhance simulation models for hybrid and electric propulsion systems
• Build system architecture and sizing models based on technical requirements
• Improve methods, processes and tool landscapes for a robust simulation workflow
• Integrate modular simulation platforms at propulsion system level with adjacent systems
• Create and maintain subsystem models for electrical, thermal and energy-related functions
• Perform testing, verification, validation and documentation using real test data

Your profile
• Degree in physics, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in engineering as well as modeling and simulation
• Very good knowledge of Python and MATLAB
• Experience with Simulink, Simscape or similar simulation tools is an advantage
• Knowledge of aircraft propulsion systems and fuel cell systems is desirable
• Business fluent English and a structured, team-oriented way of working
