AUFGABE

Die Abteilung Installation Power Plant & Vehicle Systems ist Teil der Design und Integration
Organisation innerhalb des Design Office. Das Team ist zuständig für die Entwicklung von Einzelteilen
und Zusammenbauten sowie die mechanische Integration in den Hubschrauber für die Bereiche
Innenausstattung, Environmental Control System (Heizung, Lüftung, Klimaanlage), Landewerk und
Triebwerke.
Wir betreuen das gesamte Hubschrauber-Portfolio. Dieses umfasst sowohl zivile als auch militärische
Hubschrauber als auch für Forschung genutzte Demonstratoren. Wir unterstützen dabei den kompletten
Hubschrauber-Lebenszyklus vom ersten Prototypen über die Serienproduktion bis zum in-service
support. Das Einsatzspektrum unserer Hubschrauber umfasst u.a. Transportflüge, Rettungsmissionen,
Polizei, Search and Rescue, VIP sowie Militär.

Die Hauptaufgaben und Tätigkeitsschwerpunkte sind:
Entwicklung und Integration von neuen Bauteilen und Systemen hinsichtlich:

• Konzeptentwicklung mit allen Herausforderungen: Abklären der Schnittstellen mit allen betroffenen Fachabteilungen, Lösungen und Auswirkungen für Flottennachrüstung, je nach getroffener Entscheidung im Blick zu haben
• Detailliertes Design nach Produktionsstandards (3D und 2D) für Einzelteile und Einbauzeichnungen
• Betreuung des Ersteinbaus und evtl. notwendiger Konstruktionsänderungen
• Unterstützung der zugehörigen Zulassungsaktivitäten
• Kontinuierliche Produktverbesserung
• Produktionsbetreuung von MCA und allen FALs in Donauwörth, China, Japan, USA
• Technische Unterstützung des Kundenservices

QUALIFIKATIONEN

• Berufsausbildung: eine technische Ausbildung mind. Techniker-in/ Fachwirt-in oder eine dreijährige abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung mit besonders umfangreicher fachlicher Erfahrung und Weiterbildung
• Studium der Luft- und Raumfahrt mind. Bachelor-Studiengang oder des Maschinenbaus mind. Bachelor-Studiengang oder vergleichbare Studiengänge
• Berufserfahrung in den Bereichen Design Engineer mind. über 3 Jahre, Engineering mind. über 3 Jahre, Produktionsplanung und -steuerung mind. über 3 Jahre
• IT: SAP mind. vertiefte Anwendungskenntnis, Catia V5 mind. vertiefte Anwendungskenntnis, vpm mind. vertiefte Anwendungskenntnis, Windchill mind. vertiefte Anwendungskenntnis
• Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch mind. verhandlungssicher, Englisch mind. verhandlungssicher, Französisch von Vorteil

We are seeking a System Integration Engineer (m/f/d) for a project with our well-known international customer AIRBUS in Donauwörth.

TASK

The Installation Power Plant & Vehicle Systems department is part of the Design and Integration organization within the Design Office. The team is responsible for the development of individual parts and assemblies, as well as the mechanical integration into the helicopter for the areas of interior fittings, environmental control systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), landing gear, and engines.

We manage the entire helicopter portfolio. This includes both civil and military helicopters, as well as demonstrators used for research. We support the entire helicopter lifecycle, from the initial prototype through series production to in-service support. The range of applications for our helicopters includes transport flights, rescue missions, police, search and rescue, VIPs, and military.

The main tasks and areas of focus are:
Development and integration of new components and systems with regard to:

• Concept development, taking into account all challenges: Clarifying interfaces with all relevant departments, considering solutions and impacts for fleet retrofitting, depending on the decision made
• Detailed design according to production standards (3D and 2D) for individual parts and installation drawings
• Support for initial installation and any necessary design changes
• Support for associated approval activities
• Continuous product improvement
• Production support for MCA and all FALs in Donauwörth, China, Japan, and the USA
• Technical support for customer service

QUALIFICATIONS

• Vocational training: A technical qualification (at least as a technician/business administrator) or a three-year completed vocational training with particularly extensive professional experience and further training
• A bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering (at least a bachelor's degree) or mechanical engineering (at least a bachelor's degree) or comparable degree programs
• Professional experience in the fields of design engineering (at least 3 years), engineering (at least 3 years), production planning and control (at least 3 years)
• IT: At least in-depth knowledge of SAP applications, at least in-depth knowledge of CATIA V5, at least in-depth knowledge of vpm, at least in-depth knowledge of Windchill
• Language skills: At least fluent in German, at least fluent in English, French is an advantage
