Gesucht wird ein System- und Hardware-Ingenieur für elektro-optische Missile Warning Systems. Die Rolle umfasst den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus von der Spezifikation über Entwurf, Integration und Test bis zur Serienbetreuung digitaler Subsysteme und Baugruppen.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Durchführung von Systemanalysen und Entwicklung von Systemkonzepten mit Fokus auf Hardwareaspekte
• Analyse von Kundenanforderungen und Festlegung von Systemanforderungen
• Analyse und Entwurf von Subsystem- und Hardwarekonzepten für Missile Warning Systems sowie Auslegung der zugehörigen Schnittstellen
• Spezifikation digitaler Subsysteme und Baugruppen
• Erstellung von Entwicklungs-, Produkt- und Nachweisdokumentationen
• Obsoleszenzbereinigung und Redesign bestehender Testsysteme
• Analyse digitaler Schaltungen bestehender Hardwaremodule und Optimierung des Designs
• Steuerung und fachliche Begleitung interner und externer Entwicklungspartner
• Planung und Durchführung von Integrations- und Testaktivitäten auf Systemebene sowie Inbetriebnahme von Equipment und Durchführung von Qualifikationen gemäß luftfahrtspezifischen Standards
• Unterstützung der Kunden während der Auftragsabwicklung sowie bei Integration und Abnahme

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik, Nachrichtentechnik oder eines vergleichbaren Studiengangs beziehungsweise eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mindestens auf Bachelor-Niveau
• Mehr als fünf Jahre Berufserfahrung
• Einschlägige Berufserfahrung im Systems Engineering sowie in der Spezifikation, dem Entwurf und der Entwicklung von Equipment
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Hardwareentwicklung und -integration unter besonderer Berücksichtigung von EMV- und EMC-Anforderungen
• Kenntnisse luftfahrtspezifischer Standards, z. B. DO-160 oder DO-254, oder ähnlicher Standards sowie praktische Erfahrung im Umgang mit Labormessmitteln
• Erfahrung in Hardwarekonfiguration, Versionsverwaltung und Änderungswesen in SAP PLM ist von Vorteil
• Deutsch und Englisch mindestens verhandlungssicher
• Hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative, analytische und strukturierte Arbeitsweise sowie sehr gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, Teamfähigkeit und soziale Kompetenz

We are looking for a Systems and Hardware Engineer for electro-optical missile warning systems. The role covers the entire product lifecycle, from specification, design, integration and testing through to series support for digital subsystems and assemblies.

Your tasks

• Perform system analyses and develop system concepts with a focus on hardware aspects
• Analyze customer requirements and define system requirements
• Analyze and design subsystem and hardware concepts for missile warning systems and define the associated interfaces
• Specify digital subsystems and assemblies
• Prepare development, product and verification documentation
• Resolve obsolescence issues and redesign existing test systems
• Analyze digital circuits in existing hardware modules and optimize their design
• Manage and provide technical support to internal and external development partners
• Plan and perform integration and testing activities at system level, commission equipment and conduct qualifications in accordance with aviation-specific standards
• Support customers during order execution as well as during integration and acceptance

Your profile

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering or a comparable field, or a comparable qualification at least at bachelor’s level
• More than five years of professional experience
• Relevant professional experience in systems engineering and in the specification, design and development of equipment
• Several years of professional experience in hardware development and integration, with particular consideration of EMI and EMC requirements
• Knowledge of aviation-specific standards, e.g. DO-160 or DO-254, or similar standards, as well as practical experience with laboratory measurement equipment
• Experience in hardware configuration, version control and change management in SAP PLM is advantageous
• At least negotiation-level proficiency in German and English
• A high degree of initiative, an analytical and structured working style, excellent communication skills, teamwork and social competence
