Software Engineer Simulation (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

In this role, you develop software for advanced simulation and training solutions. You contribute to sensor-related simulation systems and support the software lifecycle from requirements to qualification.

Your tasks

• Develop and enhance software for simulation and training systems
• Support software design for high-fidelity pilot training solutions
• Implement and harmonize interfaces with related simulation subsystems
• Support integration and testing activities on simulation devices
• Contribute to requirements engineering and subsystem qualification
• Work closely with technical experts in a multidisciplinary environment

Your profile

• Completed degree in computer science, engineering or a comparable technical field
• Experience in software development for complex technical systems
• Knowledge of software design and architecture for distributed systems
• Experience with V-model based software development processes
• Good programming knowledge in C, C++, ADA 95 or Python
• Business-fluent English skills
