In dieser Rolle entwickeln Sie Software für Radar-Signalverarbeitungsalgorithmen und sicherheitsgerichtete Embedded-Systeme. Sie begleiten den Entwicklungsprozess von der Anforderungsanalyse über Design und Implementierung bis zur Verifikation, Integration und Optimierung auf der Zielplattform.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Analyse von Systemanforderungen und Ableitung von Softwareanforderungen sowie Verständnis von MATLAB-Referenzmodellen für Radar-Signalverarbeitungsalgorithmen
• Erstellung des Softwaredesigns und Implementierung der Algorithmen für sicherheitsgerichtete Software in C/C++
• Entwicklung von Unit Tests unter Verwendung von Continuous-Integration-Techniken und Python zur Testautomatisierung
• Auswertung von Software-Verifikationsmaßnahmen zur Code-Abdeckungsanalyse und statischen Code-Analyse sowie Integration der Software auf die Zielplattform
• Optimierung hinsichtlich Laufzeit, Speicherbedarf und numerischer Stabilität
• Mitarbeit an der nächsten Generation von Software-Komponenten für Systemsteuerung, Scheduling und Ablaufkontrolle innerhalb der Radar-Signalverarbeitung sowie enge Zusammenarbeit mit Algorithmenentwicklung, Integrationsteams und einem internationalen Entwicklungsteam

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium in Elektrotechnik oder Informatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mindestens auf Bachelor-Niveau
• Berufserfahrung in der Analyse, Optimierung und Fehlersuche in komplexen Softwaresystemen
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in C/C++ und Python 3.x
• Grundlegende Kenntnisse in digitaler Signalverarbeitung sowie MATLAB und Linux
• Grundlegende Kenntnisse in der Entwicklung sicherheitsgerichteter und echtzeitfähiger Embedded-Systeme
• Deutsch und Englisch jeweils mindestens verhandlungssicher
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit sowie eine proaktive und lösungsorientierte Handlungsweise

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer HENSOLDT, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you will develop software for radar signal processing algorithms and safety-related embedded systems. You will support the development process from requirements analysis and software design through implementation, verification, integration and optimization on the target platform.

Your tasks

• Analyse system requirements and derive software requirements as well as understand MATLAB reference models for radar signal processing algorithms
• Create software designs and implement algorithms for safety-related software in C/C++
• Develop unit tests using continuous integration techniques and Python for test automation
• Evaluate software verification activities for code coverage analysis and static code analysis and integrate the software on the target platform
• Optimize software regarding runtime, memory requirements and numerical stability
• Contribute to the development of the next generation of software components for system control, scheduling and sequence control within radar signal processing and collaborate closely with algorithm development, integration teams and an international development team

Your profile

• Completed bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science or a comparable qualification at least at bachelor's level
• Professional experience in analysing, optimizing and troubleshooting complex software systems
• Very good knowledge of C/C++ and Python 3.x
• Basic knowledge of digital signal processing as well as MATLAB and Linux
• Basic knowledge of developing safety-related and real-time capable embedded systems
• Business-fluent German and English skills
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
