Gesucht wird ein Embedded Softwareentwickler für stabilisierte, multispektrale Sichtsysteme zur Aufklärung und Waffenführung in militärischen Vetronics- und Schiffsanwendungen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf objektorientierter C++-Entwicklung, modellorientierter Softwareentwicklung sowie Integration und Verifikation in verteilten Systemen.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Entwicklung stabilisierter optronischer Plattformen durch Vernetzung multispektraler Videokameras, Laserentfernungsmesser, Bildverarbeitungselektronik, Inertialmesssysteme und Regelungen elektromechanischer Antriebseinheiten zu High-Performance-Sichtsystemen in einem agilen Team
• Modellorientierte Softwareentwicklung sowie Anpassung und Erweiterung von CI/CD-Pipelines
• Integration von Softwarekomponenten und Gesamtsystemen
• Verifikation der entwickelten Software im Sichtsystem
• Mitwirkung bei Gesamtsystemintegrationen, Produktpräsentationen und Produkterprobungen, auch im internationalen Umfeld

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium in Elektrotechnik oder Informatik beziehungsweise eine vergleichbare Qualifikation auf mindestens Bachelor-Niveau
• Fundierte Erfahrung in der Softwarestruktur- und Verhaltensbeschreibung mit UML
• Fundierte Erfahrung in der objektorientierten Softwareentwicklung mit C++17, C++20 oder C++23 für Multitasking-Anwendungen
• Erfahrung bei der Integration und Prüfung von Softwareanwendungen in verteilten Systemen
• Sicherer Umgang mit CMake, Git, Bamboo, Clang-Tidy und Google Test zur Automatisierung von Buildsystemen und Überwachung der Codequalität
• Idealerweise Kenntnisse in QNX oder Buildroot Linux auf Multi-Processing-System-on-Chip-Architekturen, insbesondere Xilinx-Zynq-UltraScale-MPSoC-Plattformen
• Grundkenntnisse in der Socket- beziehungsweise Middleware-Programmierung zur Automatisierung verteilter Systeme
• Deutsch mindestens verhandlungssicher und Englisch mindestens versiert
• Kreatives Denkvermögen und Freude an eigenverantwortlicher Arbeit in einem agilen Entwicklungsteam

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer HENSOLDT, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer for stabilized multispectral sight systems used for reconnaissance and weapon guidance in military vetronics and naval applications. The focus is on object-oriented C++ development, model-oriented software development and integration and verification within distributed systems.

Your tasks

• Develop stabilized optronic platforms by networking multispectral video cameras, laser rangefinders, image-processing electronics, inertial measurement systems and controls for electromechanical drive units into high-performance sight systems within an agile team
• Perform model-oriented software development and adapt and extend CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate software components and complete systems
• Verify the developed software within the sight system
• Contribute to complete-system integration, product presentations and product testing, including in an international environment

Your profile

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science, or a comparable qualification at least at Bachelor’s level
• Profound experience in describing software structures and behavior using UML
• Profound experience in object-oriented software development using C++17, C++20 or C++23 for multitasking applications
• Experience in integrating and testing software applications within distributed systems
• Confident use of CMake, Git, Bamboo, Clang-Tidy and Google Test to automate build systems and monitor code quality
• Ideally, knowledge of QNX or Buildroot Linux on multiprocessing system-on-chip architectures, particularly Xilinx Zynq UltraScale MPSoC platforms
• Basic knowledge of socket or middleware programming for the automation of distributed systems
• German at least at negotiation level and English at least at an advanced level
• Creative thinking and enjoyment of independent work within an agile development team
• Teamwork and communication skills, a high degree of responsibility, resilience and organizational talent
