In dieser Rolle verantworten Sie die Integration von Softwarekomponenten sowie deren Schnittstellen zu Hardware und Firmware. Sie entwickeln strukturierte Tests, analysieren Integrationskonflikte und betreuen die zugehörige Testinfrastruktur und die physischen Testaufbauten.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Analyse komplexer Systemanforderungen und Ableitung strukturierter Testspezifikationen
• Konzeption und Implementierung von Tests für die Softwareintegration sowie für Schnittstellen zu Hardware und Firmware
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Software- und Firmware-Entwicklungsteams zur Behebung auftretender Fehler
• Domänenübergreifende Abstimmung und ganzheitliche Ursachenanalyse bei Integrationskonflikten
• Kontinuierliche Mitwirkung bei der Instandhaltung und Automatisierung der Testinfrastruktur
• Eigenverantwortliche Betreuung und Konfiguration der physischen Testaufbauten

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik oder Informatik mit mindestens Bachelorabschluss oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation auf mindestens Bachelor-Niveau
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Integration von Softwarekomponenten, idealerweise in einem agilen Umfeld wie Scrum oder SAFe, ist erforderlich
• Gute Kenntnisse in der Softwareentwicklung mit Python sind erforderlich
• Grundkenntnisse in C++, Docker, Atlassian Bamboo oder einer vergleichbaren CI-Umgebung sowie UML sind erforderlich
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Linux-Administration und in Git sowie Kenntnisse von Detailfunktionen in MS Office sind erforderlich
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sowie gute Kommunikationsfähigkeit, Teamfähigkeit, Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Belastbarkeit und Organisationstalent

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer HENSOLDT, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you will be responsible for the integration of software components and their interfaces with hardware and firmware. You will develop structured tests, analyse integration conflicts and support the associated test infrastructure and physical test setups.

Your tasks

• Analyse complex system requirements and derive structured test specifications
• Design and implement tests for software integration and interfaces with hardware and firmware
• Cooperate closely with the software and firmware development teams to resolve occurring errors
• Coordinate across domains and perform holistic root-cause analyses for integration conflicts
• Continuously contribute to the maintenance and automation of the test infrastructure
• Independently support and configure the physical test setups

Your profile

• Completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or computer science, or a comparable qualification at least at Bachelor’s level
• Several years of professional experience in the integration of software components, ideally in an agile environment such as Scrum or SAFe, are required
• Good software development knowledge using Python is required
• Basic knowledge of C++, Docker, Atlassian Bamboo or a comparable CI environment, and UML is required
• Sound knowledge of Linux administration and Git, as well as knowledge of detailed functions in MS Office, is required
• Business-fluent German and English skills, combined with good communication skills, teamwork, a strong sense of responsibility, resilience and organisational talent
