Program Operational Manager Spare Parts (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

As a Program Operational Manager, you will anticipate spare parts needs and mitigate risks relating to cash exposure and stock management. You will develop solutions to improve material availability and customer satisfaction while strengthening competitiveness.

Your tasks

• Proactively anticipate spare parts needs and mitigate associated risks for the company, including cash exposure and stock management
• Industrialize and provide solutions to improve material availability and customer satisfaction while strengthening competitiveness
• Contribute to transversal initiatives preparing the future, including DDMS, sustainability, processes and e-RSP material speculation
• Cooperate with stakeholders to build in-depth background knowledge of relevant data and provide timely and appropriate reporting
• Monitor performance through KPIs and milestone tracking, and carry out controlling and reporting
• Manage risks and opportunities

Your profile

• Completed bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain/logistics or business administration
• More than two years of professional experience in configuration management and contract management, and more than three years in each of the following areas: material planning/procurement, customer service and supply chain/logistics
• Advanced application knowledge of SAP, knowledge of Google Workspace and Skywise, and good knowledge of project management
• Business-fluent English; German and French are advantageous
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, self-assurance and the ability to make decisions independently
• Ability to coordinate a large number of contributors and strong analytical skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally, two to three times a year for three to five days
