Als Manufacturing Engineer im Technical Shopfloor Support Team unterstützen Sie die Single-Aisle-Ausrüstungsmontage. Sie koordinieren mechanische und elektrische Installationsarbeiten, bearbeiten technische Störungen und optimieren die Montageprozesse.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Koordination von Serienarbeiten in der mechanischen und elektrischen Systeminstallation mit dem Ziel, die Sektion ohne offene Restarbeiten auszuliefern.
• Recherche von Designvorgaben, unter anderem Design Solution und Design Query Note, sowie Umsetzung in Fertigungsaufträge.
• Erstellung und Bearbeitung der technischen Dokumentation für Störungen im Installationsprozess, insbesondere NCs beziehungsweise Non-Conformities.
• Nachhaltige Reduzierung wiederkehrender NCs durch Projekte und Practical Problem Solving.
• Erstellung von Arbeitsplänen in SAP PEA für Änderungen, Modifikationen und Reparaturen sowie Eskalation dringender Materialbedarfe über das Procurement.
• Bauplatzsteuerung und Terminüberwachung sowie Identifikation und schnellstmögliche Beseitigung von Fertigungsproblemen und Störungen.
• Bewertung und Einführung von Optimierungen der Montageprozesse und -abläufe sowie kontinuierliche Mitarbeit zur Verbesserung von Termintreue, Kosten und Qualität.
• Mitarbeit bei Projekten und fachliche Beratung.

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Ingenieurwesen, in Luft- und Raumfahrt oder in einem technischen Fach oder eine Meisterqualifikation in einem dieser Bereiche.
• Jeweils mehr als ein Jahr Berufserfahrung in Arbeitsvorbereitung, Fertigung beziehungsweise Produktion, Manufacturing Engineering sowie Produktionsplanung und -steuerung.
• Erfahrung im Materialmanagement ist von Vorteil.
• Vertiefte Anwendungskenntnisse in SAP sowie Kenntnisse in Google Workspace.
• Mindestens Grundkenntnisse im Projektmanagement und Prozessmanagement.
• Mindestens Grundkenntnisse im Total Quality Management und in Problemlösungsmethoden.
• Kenntnisse der Prozessabläufe in der Ausrüstungsmontage sind von Vorteil.
• Mindestens verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
• Selbstständige Arbeitsweise sowie ein hohes Maß an Kommunikationsfähigkeit, Flexibilität und Teamfähigkeit.
• Offenheit für ein internationales Umfeld und andere Kulturen.

As a Manufacturing Engineer within the Technical Shopfloor Support Team, you will support Single Aisle equipment installation. You will coordinate mechanical and electrical installation work, handle technical disruptions and optimize assembly processes.

Your tasks

• Coordinate serial production work involving mechanical and electrical system installation to deliver the section without outstanding work.
• Research design specifications, including Design Solution and Design Query Note, and implement them in production orders.
• Create and process technical documentation for disruptions in the installation process, particularly NCs or non-conformities.
• Reduce recurring NCs sustainably through projects and Practical Problem Solving.
• Create work plans in SAP PEA for changes, modifications and repairs, and escalate urgent material requirements through Procurement.
• Control production workstations and monitor schedules while identifying manufacturing problems and resolving disruptions as quickly as possible.
• Evaluate and introduce optimizations to assembly processes and workflows and continuously contribute to improving delivery performance, costs and quality.
• Contribute to projects and provide technical advice.

Your profile

• Completed degree in engineering, aerospace or a technical discipline, or a master craftsperson qualification in one of these areas.
• More than one year of professional experience in each of the following areas: work preparation, manufacturing or production, manufacturing engineering, and production planning and control.
• Experience in material management is an advantage.
• Advanced working knowledge of SAP and knowledge of Google Workspace.
• At least basic knowledge of project management and process management.
• At least basic knowledge of Total Quality Management and problem-solving methods.
• Knowledge of equipment installation processes is an advantage.
• German and English language skills at a minimum of business-fluent level.
• Independent working style and a high degree of communication skills, flexibility and teamwork.
• Openness to an international environment and other cultures.
