Gesucht wird ein erfahrener Software-Architekt für die Entwicklung eingebetteter Software innerhalb militärischer Selbstschutzsysteme. Die Tätigkeit umfasst den gesamten Entwicklungsprozess von der Anforderungsanalyse bis zur Integration, Verifizierung und Betreuung der Systemfunktionalität.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Spezifikation, Design und Entwicklung von Software für eingebettete Systeme

• Begleitung der Entwicklung von der Anforderungsanalyse über das Softwaredesign bis zur Programmierung von Softwaremodulen

• Durchführung der Hardware-/Software-Integration

• Verifizierung und Validierung der Software, Erstellung und Durchführung von Testprozeduren sowie Dokumentation der Ergebnisse auf Komponenten- und Systemebene

• Entwicklung PC-basierter Testanwendungen und Sondermessmittel sowie Erstellung und Pflege technischer Dokumentationen

• Teilnahme an Software-Reviews und am formalen Änderungsmanagement, Betreuung von Kundenfragen zur Systemfunktionalität sowie enge Zusammenarbeit mit System Engineering und Algorithmenentwicklung

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium der Informatik oder des Ingenieurwesens beziehungsweise eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mindestens auf Bachelor-Niveau

• Mehr als fünf Jahre Berufserfahrung, insbesondere in der Entwicklung von Software für eingebettete Systeme und in der hardwarenahen Softwareentwicklung sowie gegebenenfalls in der Echtzeitprogrammierung

• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in C und C++ sowie detaillierte Spezialkenntnisse in MS Office

• Gute Kenntnisse in Anforderungsmanagement-Software, z. B. Rational DOORS oder Requisite Pro, sowie im Umgang mit Echtzeitbetriebssystemen, z. B. VxWorks

• Sehr gute Kenntnisse der Netzwerkkommunikation über TCP/IP, serieller Schnittstellen wie RS232, RS422 und RS485 sowie von Bussystemen, z. B. MIL-STD-1553 oder CAN-Bus

• Erfahrung in der Anforderungsanalyse und Softwaremodellierung mit UML beziehungsweise in der modellbasierten Softwareentwicklung, z. B. mit Rational Rhapsody oder Rational Rose

• Gute Kenntnisse im Konfigurationsmanagement und in Prozessmodellen

• Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von PC-Programmen für Testanwendungen, z. B. mit LabVIEW oder Visual Studio, ist von Vorteil

• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse

• Gute Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit sowie ein hohes Maß an Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Belastbarkeit und Organisationstalent

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer HENSOLDT, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

We are looking for an experienced software architect to develop embedded software for military self-protection systems. The role covers the entire development process, from requirements analysis through integration and verification to supporting questions concerning system functionality.

Your tasks

• Specification, design and development of software for embedded systems

• Supporting development from requirements analysis and software design through to the programming of software modules

• Performing hardware/software integration

• Verifying and validating the software, creating and executing test procedures, and documenting results at component and system level

• Developing PC-based test applications and special measuring equipment as well as creating and maintaining technical documentation

• Participating in software reviews and formal project change management, supporting customers with questions concerning system functionality, and working closely with systems engineering and algorithm development

Your profile

• Completed bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or a comparable qualification at least at bachelor’s level

• More than five years of professional experience, particularly in embedded software development and hardware-related software development, as well as real-time programming where applicable

• Very good knowledge of C and C++ and detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office

• Good knowledge of requirements management software, e.g. Rational DOORS or Requisite Pro, and experience with real-time operating systems, e.g. VxWorks

• Very good knowledge of network communication via TCP/IP, serial interfaces such as RS232, RS422 and RS485, and bus systems, e.g. MIL-STD-1553 or CAN bus

• Experience in requirements analysis and UML software modelling or model-based software development, e.g. with Rational Rhapsody or Rational Rose

• Good knowledge of configuration management and process models

• Experience in developing PC programs for test applications, e.g. with LabVIEW or Visual Studio, would be an advantage

• Business-fluent German and English

• Good communication and teamwork skills as well as a high degree of responsibility, resilience and organizational ability
