Als Product Integration Engineer integrieren Sie Software Units zu geplanten IBMS Releases und führen Software- und System-Builds durch. Sie installieren und prüfen Releases, betreuen die Produkttestanlage und koordinieren Integrationsaufgaben sowie das Bug Tracking.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Integration benötigter Software Units zu geplanten IBMS Releases sowie Durchführung der Software- und System-Builds für neue Releases.
• Installation von IBMS Releases auf Test- und Referenzanlagen sowie Durchführung erster Regressionstests.
• Sicherstellung der Verfügbarkeit und Nutzbarkeit der IBMS-Produkttestanlage.
• Mitwirkung bei der Konzeption und Modernisierung der CI/CD-Prozesse und Toolketten.
• Mitwirkung bei Konzeption, Aufbau, Inbetriebnahme und Pflege der neuen IBMS-Produkttestanlage sowie Aufbau intensiver Kenntnisse über Architektur und Funktionsweise der IBMS-Systeme.
• Erstellung und Verfolgung von Bug Reports sowie Unterstützung bei Problemanalysen, Fehlersuche und Verifikation von Fehlerbehebungen auf Ebene des IBMS-Produktes.
• Unterstützung des Testteams bei der Testautomatisierung auf der Produkttestanlage.
• Koordination des Bug Trackings auf Ebene des IBMS-Produktes und Schnittstellenfunktion zu den IBMS-Projekten.
• Mitwirkung bei der IBMS-Releaseplanung und Erstellung der detaillierten Planung für das Produktintegrationsteam.
• Unterstützung von Controlling und Reporting für den Anteil Produktintegration sowie Koordination der Aufgabenbearbeitung im Integrationsteam.
• Erstellung und Pflege der erforderlichen Integrationsdokumente.
• Anwendung des Airbus-Entwicklungsprozesses unter Berücksichtigung der erforderlichen Qualitätsanforderungen.

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Software Engineering, in Elektrotechnik oder Informatik mit mindestens Bachelorabschluss oder vergleichbare Qualifikation mit mindestens Bachelorabschluss.
• Erfahrung mit Integration und Tests auf Produkt- und Systemebene einschließlich Fehleranalyse ist sehr wünschenswert.
• Erfahrung mit Linux-Shell-Skripten wird vorausgesetzt.
• Erfahrung mit Virtualisierung und CI/CD wird vorausgesetzt.
• Gute Netzwerkkenntnisse, insbesondere TCP/IP, Wireshark, Konfiguration und Fehlersuche, sind erforderlich.
• Erfahrung mit Tools wie Jenkins, Confluence, Jira, SVN oder DOORS ist wünschenswert.
• Kenntnisse in der Testautomatisierung sind wünschenswert.
• Kenntnisse in Python und/oder Perl sind von Vorteil.
• Erfahrung mit Dateiformaten wie XML, JSON oder YAML ist von Vorteil.
• Mindestens verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
• Freude an gemeinsamer Lösungsfindung in einer agilen Umgebung und am Erlernen neuer Fähigkeiten, Tools, Technologien und Prozesse.

As a Product Integration Engineer, you will integrate software units into planned IBMS releases and perform software and system builds. You will install and test releases, maintain the product test facility and coordinate integration tasks and bug tracking.

Your tasks

• Integrate required software units into planned IBMS releases and perform software and system builds for new releases.
• Install IBMS releases on test and reference facilities and conduct initial regression tests.
• Ensure the availability and usability of the IBMS product test facility.
• Contribute to the design and modernization of CI/CD processes and toolchains.
• Contribute to the design, setup, commissioning and maintenance of the new IBMS product test facility and build extensive knowledge of the architecture and functionality of IBMS systems.
• Create and track bug reports and support product-level problem analysis, troubleshooting and verification of bug fixes.
• Support the test team with test automation on the product test facility.
• Coordinate bug tracking at IBMS product level and act as the interface to the IBMS projects.
• Contribute to IBMS release planning and prepare detailed plans for the product integration team.
• Support controlling and reporting for product integration activities and coordinate task processing within the integration team.
• Create and maintain the required integration documents.
• Apply the Airbus development process while considering the required quality standards.

Your profile

• Completed degree in software engineering, electrical engineering or computer science at a minimum of bachelor’s level, or a comparable qualification at a minimum of bachelor’s level.
• Experience with integration and testing at product and system level, including failure analysis, is highly desirable.
• Experience with Linux shell scripts is required.
• Experience with virtualization and CI/CD is required.
• Good networking knowledge, particularly TCP/IP, Wireshark, configuration and troubleshooting, is required.
• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Confluence, Jira, SVN or DOORS is desirable.
• Knowledge of test automation is desirable.
• Knowledge of Python and/or Perl is an advantage.
• Experience with file formats such as XML, JSON or YAML is an advantage.
• German and English language skills at a minimum of business-fluent level.
• Enjoyment of collaborative problem-solving in an agile environment and learning new skills, tools, technologies and processes.
