Für eine Aufgabe im Bereich Simulation Control Stations suchen wir Sie als Software Architect (m/w/d). Sie entwickeln komplexe Softwarearchitekturen und Benutzeroberflächen für Simulations- und Trainingssysteme im Umfeld von Airbus.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Kommunikation mit Stakeholdern und Kunden zur Erfassung und Analyse von Anforderungen

• Definition und Entwicklung der Software-Architektur für Simulationskontrollstationen, Ausbilder-Bedienstationen und Debriefing-Stationen für die Flugausbildung

• Gestaltung intuitiver, benutzerfreundlicher Oberflächen auf Basis eines kundenspezifischen GUI-Frameworks (Qt/QML)

• Pflege der technischen Gesamtarchitektur (Codebasis, Schnittstellen, Gesamtstruktur)

• Entwicklung, Test und Wartung von Software durch sauberen, effizienten und wartungsfreundlichen Code gemäß Best Practices

• Analyse, Debugging und Behebung von Softwareproblemen

• Identifikation technischer Risiken, Einleitung von Gegenmaßnahmen

• Teilnahme an agilen Meetings (Planung, Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospektiven)

• Durchführung von Code-Reviews und Sicherstellung definierter Codierungsstandards

• Mentoring und Training von Nachwuchsingenieuren im Qt/QML-Stack und in Architekturthemen

Ihr Profil

• Ausbildung/Studium: Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik (mind. Master/Diplom) oder vergleichbare Qualifikation

• Berufserfahrung: Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung mit Schwerpunkt Frontend-/UI-Anwendungen sowie in der Konzeption und Implementierung komplexer Softwarearchitekturen

• IT-/Fachkenntnisse: Sehr gute Kenntnisse in C++ und im Qt/QML-Technologie-Stack; Erfahrung mit modernen DevOps-Pipelines, Containerisierung und agilen Methoden

• Sprachkenntnisse: Englisch verhandlungssicher, Deutsch von Vorteil

• Weitere Qualifikationen: Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit, eigenständige und strukturierte Arbeitsweise, Bereitschaft zum Mentoring

For an assignment in the field of Simulation Control Stations, we are looking for a Software Architect (m/f/d). You will design and develop complex software architectures and user interfaces for simulation and training systems in the Airbus environment.

Your tasks

• Communicate with stakeholders and customers to capture and analyse requirements

• Define and develop the software architecture for simulation control stations, instructor operator stations and debriefing stations for flight training

• Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces using a custom GUI framework based on Qt/QML

• Maintain the overall technical architecture (code base, interfaces, overall structure)

• Design, develop, test and maintain software by writing clean, efficient and maintainable code, following best practices

• Analyse, debug and resolve software issues

• Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues

• Participate in agile meetings (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)

• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards

• Mentor and train junior engineers in the Qt/QML technology stack and software architecture

Your profile

• Education: Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent

• Professional experience: Experience in software development focused on front-end/UI applications and in designing and implementing complex software architectures

• IT/technical skills: Strong knowledge of C++ and the Qt/QML technology stack; experience with modern DevOps pipelines, containerisation and agile methods

• Languages: English fluent, German beneficial

• Other qualifications: Strong communication and teamwork skills, independent and structured way of working, willingness to mentor others
