Procurement Support – Cabin Components (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this procurement support role, you manage purchasing, supplier and pricing data for complex cabin components and support operational procurement activities. The position offers the opportunity to develop into a Junior Buyer role.

Your tasks

• Manage prices for complex cabin components and maintain supplier information and pricing data in SAP MM and other Airbus procurement tools
• Create and follow up purchase orders as well as invoice payments and payments to suppliers
• Support buyers in maintaining data integrity in procurement tools and consolidate and follow up supplier rating and performance data
• Manage electronic and physical archiving of contractual documents and define best practices to harmonize ways of working across work packages
• Use AI, Google tools and internal specialists to automate administrative tasks and research relevant data by interviewing specialists from other functions
• Provide Airbus teams with data for negotiations and negotiate non-recurring and recurring costs of design changes directly with suppliers

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain/logistics, business administration, international management or supply chain quality
• More than one year of professional experience each in disposition/material procurement, purchasing, supplier management and supply chain
• Detailed functional knowledge of SAP as well as knowledge of Google Workspace
• Basic knowledge of project management
• At least business-fluent English; German is beneficial
• Independent, structured and results-oriented working style, strong communication skills as well as a high level of persuasiveness and assertiveness
