Gesucht wird ein Embedded Software Developer für Luftraumüberwachungs- und moderne Kommunikationssysteme auf luft-, boden- und seegestützten Plattformen für militärische und zivile Nutzer. Die Software kommt unter anderem in IFF-Geräten wie Sekundärradaren und Transpondern sowie in Bedien- und Anzeigesystemen verschiedener Radarsysteme zum Einsatz.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Entwicklung und Optimierung echtzeitfähiger, multitaskingfähiger Linux-Anwendungen in C
• Anwendung des definierten Entwicklungsprozesses
• Erstellung von Software Requirements
• Erstellung von Software-Design-Artefakten und Modellen mit UML
• Durchführung von CI/CD und Unit-Testing
• Wartung der Linux-basierten Infrastruktur

Ihr Profil

• Mindestens Bachelorabschluss in Informatik beziehungsweise eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mindestens auf Bachelor-Niveau
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Anwendungssoftwareentwicklung
• Gute Programmierfähigkeiten in C
• Sicherer Umgang mit Linux einschließlich Kernel Space
• Erste Erfahrung mit Netzwerk- und/oder Busprotokollen
• Erste Erfahrung mit Enterprise Architect ist wünschenswert
• Deutsch und Englisch mindestens verhandlungssicher
• Gute Kommunikationsfähigkeit, Teamfähigkeit sowie hohes Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Belastbarkeit und Organisationstalent

We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer for airspace surveillance and advanced communication systems on airborne, ground-based and maritime platforms for military and civil users. The software is used, among other applications, in IFF devices such as secondary radars and transponders and in control and display systems for various radar systems.

Your tasks

• Develop and optimize real-time, multitasking Linux applications in C
• Apply the defined development process
• Create software requirements
• Create software design artifacts and models using UML
• Perform CI/CD and unit testing
• Maintain the Linux-based infrastructure

Your profile

• At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a comparable qualification at least at bachelor’s level
• Several years of experience in application software development
• Good programming skills in C
• Confident use of Linux, including kernel space
• Initial experience with network and/or bus protocols
• Initial experience with Enterprise Architect is desirable
• At least negotiation-level proficiency in German and English
• Good communication and teamwork skills as well as a high degree of responsibility, resilience and organizational talent
