Airframe Automation Specialist (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you support the development of methods, processes and automation solutions within Airframe Engineering. The focus is on automated design activities, parametric design and the continuous improvement of physical aircraft development processes.

Your tasks

• Support new technological automation building blocks in Airframe Engineering
• Develop methods, processes and tools for automated design activities
• Link architecture parameters with automation functions and dependencies
• Define rules for automation-supported and parametric design
• Contribute to Airframe Engineering processes for physical design
• Coordinate with specialist teams and experts in a transnational environment

Your profile

• Degree in engineering, technical studies or comparable qualification
• Experience in engineering, design, aircraft construction or configuration management
• Knowledge of system installation and structural design in an airframe environment
• Advanced knowledge of CATIA V5 and VPM
• Good knowledge of project management, process management and Airframe Engineering processes
• Business-fluent English skills; basic German skills
