Gesucht wird ein Systems & Regulatory Compliance Engineer in einer zentralen Schnittstellenfunktion. Die Rolle stellt die Qualität technischer Systeme und deren regulatorische Konformität sicher und unterstützt das Entwicklungsteam von den ersten Designphasen bis zur Fertigung.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Prüfung und Verifikation von Schaltplänen, Layouts, Traces, technischen Zeichnungen, Anforderungskatalogen, Systembeschreibungen und Prozessdokumentationen auf Korrektheit und Vollständigkeit
• Sicherstellung der Übereinstimmung aller Dokumente mit internen Qualitätsstandards sowie spezifischen Entwicklungs- und Dokumentationsprozessen
• Überwachung definierter Workflows und korrigierendes Eingreifen bei Abweichungen zur Wahrung der Prozessintegrität
• Unterstützung bei der Komplettierung von Cameo-Modellen auf Basis von MBSE und SysML, Einbringung von Informationen in vorgegebene Vorlagen und Pflege der Produktdokumentation in Confluence
• Erstellung klarer Handbücher und Dokumentationen in deutscher und englischer Sprache, Ablage von Entwicklungsdaten und Durchführung der Konfigurationskontrolle
• Tätigkeit als zentrale Schnittstelle zwischen den Projektteams und der regulatorischen Abteilung
• Sammlung relevanter Hinweise aus Entwicklungsprojekten und Durchführung fundierter Risikoanalysen zur frühzeitigen Identifizierung regulatorischer Hürden
• Unterstützung des gesamten Zertifizierungsprozesses einschließlich der Erlangung von Zertifikaten und der CE-Kennzeichnung
• Führung der Produktsicherheitsakte und ganzheitliche Begleitung des Produktes von der Designphase über die Prototypenbildung bis zur finalen Fertigung
• Effiziente Nutzung moderner AI-Tools zur Erstellung, Übersetzung, Optimierung und Verfeinerung von Texten und technischen Inhalten

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Master- oder Diplomstudium in Elektrotechnik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Maschinenbau oder Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen oder eine Qualifikation in Technischer Redaktion oder eine vergleichbare technische Qualifikation mit passender Weiterbildung und entsprechender Erfahrung
• Detaillierte Spezialkenntnisse in MS Office
• Erfahrung mit Confluence sowie vertrauter Umgang mit Cameo Systems Modeler und SysML oder die Bereitschaft zur Einarbeitung sind erforderlich
• Sichere Anwendung moderner AI-Tools zur Text- und Dokumentationsoptimierung
• Deutsch und Englisch jeweils mindestens verhandlungssicher
• Fundiertes Verständnis elektrotechnischer Schaltungen und Schaltplan-Reviews sowie sicherer Umgang mit technischen Zeichnungen und komplexen Systembeschreibungen
• Erfahrung in der Qualitätssicherung, im Qualitätsmanagement oder im Bereich Regulatory Compliance, bevorzugt aus der Luftfahrt- oder Automobilindustrie, ist wünschenswert
• Verständnis regulatorischer Anforderungen, z. B. CE-Richtlinien und ISO-Normen, sowie Erfahrung in der Durchführung von Risikoanalysen sind zwingend erforderlich
• Extrem detailorientierte, strukturierte und gewissenhafte Arbeitsweise mit einem ausgeprägten Auge fürs Detail
• Analytisches Denkvermögen, hohe Auffassungsgabe für komplexe Zusammenhänge und ausgeprägtes Verantwortungsbewusstsein hinsichtlich der Einhaltung von Standards
• Kommunikationsstärke im Umgang mit verschiedenen Stakeholdern aus Entwicklung, Produktion und Projektleitung sowie eine proaktive Arbeitsweise

We are looking for a Systems & Regulatory Compliance Engineer for a central interface function. The role ensures the quality and regulatory compliance of technical systems and actively supports the development team from the initial design phases through to manufacturing.

Your tasks

• Review and verify schematics, layouts, traces, technical drawings, requirements, system descriptions and process documentation for correctness and completeness
• Ensure that all documents comply with internal quality standards and specific development and documentation processes
• Monitor defined workflows and take corrective action in the event of deviations to maintain process integrity
• Support the completion of Cameo models based on MBSE and SysML, add information to predefined templates and maintain product documentation in Confluence
• Prepare clear manuals and documentation in German and English, file development data and perform configuration control
• Act as the central interface between project teams and the regulatory department
• Collect relevant information from development projects and conduct sound risk analyses to identify regulatory obstacles at an early stage
• Support the complete certification process, including obtaining certificates and CE marking
• Maintain the product safety file and support the product throughout its lifecycle, from the design phase and prototype development through to final manufacturing
• Use modern AI tools efficiently to create, translate, optimize and refine texts and technical content

Your profile

• Completed Master’s degree or Diplom in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering, or a qualification in technical writing, or a comparable technical qualification with relevant further training and corresponding experience
• Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office
• Experience with Confluence and familiarity with Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML, or willingness to become familiar with them, is required
• Confident use of modern AI tools for text and documentation optimization
• German and English both at least at negotiation level
• Sound understanding of electrical circuits and schematic reviews as well as confident handling of technical drawings and complex system descriptions
• Experience in quality assurance, quality management or regulatory compliance, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industry, is desirable
• Understanding of regulatory requirements, e.g. CE directives and ISO standards, as well as experience in conducting risk analyses is mandatory
• Extremely detail-oriented, structured and conscientious working style with a strong eye for detail
• Analytical thinking, strong ability to understand complex correlations and a pronounced sense of responsibility regarding compliance with standards
• Strong communication skills when working with stakeholders from development, production and project management as well as a proactive working style
