Buyer Cabin Upgrade Services (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

You will join the Procurement Cabin Aftersales team, covering the cabin passenger area excluding seats. You will manage Requests for Quotations for a defined cabin upgrade portfolio, negotiate commercial offers, and support competitive supply contract terms.

Your tasks

• Participate in the dynamic customer offer preparation phase, understand customer needs for Cabin Upgrade Services projects, and identify existing supplier contractual terms supporting those needs
• Launch Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers and follow up on offers in line with the timelines committed by Airbus to customers
• Act as the first line of commercial negotiation to secure Airbus competitiveness and take accountability for the RFQ offer approval process
• Support process improvements with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Support updates to supply contracts to include terms and conditions that improve Airbus competitiveness in the Cabin Upgrades business
• Collaborate within a multi-functional network covering Customer Support, customer offer management, Engineering, and Supply Chain, interfacing with multiple suppliers in Europe and worldwide

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline, business administration, or international management
• More than two years of professional experience in procurement, more than one year in customer service, and more than two years in supplier management
• Advanced application knowledge of SAP and knowledge of Google Workspace
• Good knowledge of project management and process management
• Negotiation-level English; German and/or French language skills are advantageous
• Team player able to work in a multi-functional environment, with creativity, an innovative approach, the ability to become independent quickly, and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment
