In dieser praxisorientierten Rolle unterstützen Sie die Vorbereitung und Durchführung aerodynamischer Windkanaltests für militärische Flugzeugprogramme. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der elektrischen Instrumentierung, Sensorintegration sowie Montage und Instandhaltung von Windkanalmodellen und Messtechnik.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Elektrische Instrumentierung, Verdrahtung und Installation von Windkanalmodellen sowie Integration und Verkabelung von Sensoren
• Montage mechanischer und elektromechanischer Komponenten, manuelle Applikation von Dehnungsmessstreifen und Löten von Sensoranschlüssen
• Unterstützung bei der Entwicklung von Montagekonzepten für Modelle und Kalibrierungen in Abstimmung mit internen und externen Beteiligten
• Wartung und Reparatur von Windkanalmodellen, Messtechnik und Datenerfassungssystemen sowie praktische Unterstützung der Fachingenieure im Aerodynamiklabor
• Unterstützung bei Testvorbereitung und Testdurchführung in externen Windkanalanlagen sowie bei der Qualitätssicherung ausgelagerter Komponenten einschließlich Abnahmen vor Ort
• Unterstützung der Modellfertigung mittels internem 3D-Druck sowie Verwaltung von Werkzeug- und Lagerbeständen

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als Elektroniker mit ausgeprägter elektrischer und elektronischer Fachkompetenz; ein Hochschulabschluss ist für diese Position nicht erforderlich
• Mindestens drei Jahre praktische Berufserfahrung sind zwingend erforderlich; eine Qualifikation als Meister oder Techniker ist von Vorteil
• Gute Kenntnisse und praktische Erfahrung mit Messtechnik, wie sie typischerweise bei Windkanaltests eingesetzt wird, sind zwingend erforderlich
• Erfahrung in manueller Montage, im Löten sowie im Umgang mit empfindlichen mechanischen und elektrischen Komponenten ist erforderlich; eine ausgeprägte Hands-on-Mentalität ist wesentlich
• Detaillierte Spezialkenntnisse in MS Office sind erforderlich; Kenntnisse und Erfahrung im 3D-Druck sind von Vorteil
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, Teamfähigkeit, schnelle Lernfähigkeit und Bereitschaft zur Arbeit in einem dynamischen Umfeld sowie zu etwa drei mehrwöchigen Reisen pro Jahr innerhalb Deutschlands, in die Niederlande und in die USA

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this hands-on role, you will support the preparation and execution of aerodynamic wind tunnel tests for military aircraft programmes. The focus is on electrical instrumentation, sensor integration, and the assembly and maintenance of wind tunnel models and measurement equipment.

Your tasks

• Perform electrical instrumentation, wiring and installation of wind tunnel models, including sensor integration and cabling
• Assemble and mount mechanical and electromechanical components, manually apply strain gauges and solder sensor connections
• Support the development of model and calibration assembly concepts in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain and repair wind tunnel models, measurement technology and data acquisition systems, and provide practical support to engineers in the aerodynamics laboratory
• Contribute to test preparation and execution at external wind tunnel facilities and support quality assurance for outsourced components, including on-site buy-offs
• Support model fabrication using in-house 3D printing and manage tool and inventory stock

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as an electrician or electronics technician with strong electrical and electronic expertise; a university degree is not required for this position
• At least three years of practical professional experience are mandatory; certification as a Master Craftsman or Technician is an advantage
• Good knowledge of and practical experience with measurement technology typically used in wind tunnel testing are mandatory
• Experience in manual assembly, soldering and handling delicate mechanical and electrical components is required; a strong hands-on attitude is essential
• Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office is required; knowledge of and experience with 3D printing are an advantage
• Business-fluent German and English, strong teamwork and learning abilities, willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and readiness to travel approximately three times per year for periods of one to four weeks within Germany, to the Netherlands and to the USA
