Software Engineer Tools & Automation (m/f/d) – AIRBUS

In this role, you support the development and maintenance of software tools for simulation, validation and automation in an engineering environment.

Your tasks

• Designing, implementing and testing software applications and libraries
• Developing cross-platform solutions for Unix/Linux and Windows environments
• Managing build workflows and supporting efficient development processes
• Integrating distributed services and communication interfaces
• Contributing to simulation tools and validation frameworks
• Supporting architecture discussions, code quality and technical reviews

Your profile

• Completed degree in computer science, software engineering or a comparable technical field
• Experience in software development and systems-level programming
• Strong knowledge of C++ and modern software design principles
• Experience with simulation, distributed systems or real-time applications
• Knowledge of build systems, version control and development workflows
• Negotiation-level English skills; German skills are desirable
