Engineering Specialist Automation (m/f/d) – AIRBUS

In this role, you support engineering teams by improving digital workflows, automating data processes and making technical work more efficient.

Your tasks

• Automating data workflows between engineering systems and databases
• Developing scripts and small applications for recurring technical processes
• Connecting tools, databases and reporting solutions through practical interfaces
• Supporting the digitization of manual spreadsheet-based workflows
• Maintaining digital libraries and supporting data quality
• Training team members in the use of new digital tools

Your profile

• Completed degree in computer science, engineering, aerospace or a comparable field
• Experience in engineering, IT or information systems
• Strong programming skills, especially with Python
• Basic knowledge of Unix, Java or cloud environments is helpful
• Good communication skills and a structured way of working
• Negotiation-level English skills
