Structural Dynamics & Aeroelasticity Engineer (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

In this role, you will work on structural dynamics, dynamic loads and aeroelasticity for aircraft structures. The focus is on landing gear loads, ground loads, modal analysis and dynamic flight loads.

Your tasks

• Perform landing gear loads analysis for aircraft structures
• Conduct dynamic ground loads analysis
• Carry out modal analysis and support structural dynamics assessments
• Work on dynamic flight loads and aeroelasticity topics
• Use FEM-based methods and relevant engineering tools for load analysis
• Support technical evaluations in collaboration with international engineering teams

Your profile

• Master’s degree or diploma in aerospace engineering or a comparable field
• Professional experience in aerospace engineering, structural dynamics, dynamic loads or aeroelasticity
• Experience with FEM software such as HyperMesh or HyperWorks
• Required knowledge of Python and MATLAB
• Knowledge of NASTRAN, ADAMS or basic Linux skills is beneficial
• Business-fluent English skills; German skills are nice to have
