Systems Engineer Flight Control Systems (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

In this role, you will work on the definition, design and validation of flight control system architectures. The focus is on system design, redundancy management, requirements definition and interface coordination for complex aircraft systems.

Your tasks

• Define and design flight control system architectures and related functions
• Develop redundancy management concepts and support failure identification logic
• Define, validate and maintain L2/L3 system requirements
• Support interface definition with connected systems and equipment
• Ensure requirement traceability, coverage and consistency
• Support L2/L3 system test activities and validation work

Your profile

• Master’s degree or diploma in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field
• Professional experience in design engineering, development or IT/information systems
• Experience in system engineering and requirements definition
• Knowledge of flight control systems or flight management systems
• Detailed knowledge of Python and DOORS; C++, MATLAB Simulink, Cameo or SCADE are beneficial
• Business-fluent English skills and strong collaboration abilities
