Software Development / Test Engineer Cabin Electronics (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you work in the Software Engineering Team of the Airbus Cabin Electronics Department. The focus is on software requirements, design, implementation, verification, integration testing, CI/CD integration and lifecycle documentation for cabin electronics software.

Your tasks

• Define software requirements and designs based on system specifications
• Create, test and integrate software components for cabin electronics applications
• Verify software requirements and designs and create test cases and procedures
• Execute software and hardware integration tests
• Enhance existing tests by integrating them into CI/CD frameworks
• Manage software lifecycle documentation, configuration and release of software artefacts

Your profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, business informatics, software engineering or similar
• More than 3 years of experience in IT, information systems, verification or systems integration
• Good understanding of the DO-178 software lifecycle
• Required knowledge of C/C++ and experience in software testing or integration
• Experience with Agile and DevOps tools such as Jira, GitHub or Jenkins; SCADE knowledge desirable
• Business-fluent English skills; German knowledge is beneficial
