CAD/DMU Process Engineer Airframe Engineering (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you develop, maintain and improve CAD/DMU methods and tools for mechanical and electrical design within Airframe Engineering programs. The focus is on tool development, process standardization, user support, training and deployment of design methods for Air Power programs.

Your tasks

• Develop and deploy CAD/DMU methods and tools for Air Power programs
• Specify requirements, evaluate new tools and support tool selection processes
• Test implementations and create methods, guidelines and training documentation
• Provide end-user trainings and operational support for business users
• Develop and deploy utilities to automate, standardize and improve CAD processes
• Support quality achievement in mechanical and electrical design environments

Your profile

• Master’s degree or diploma in aerospace engineering or an equivalent technical field
• More than 4 years of experience as a design engineer
• Mandatory work experience as mechanical and/or electrical designer
• Experience in leading methods and tools development projects for mechanical and/or electrical design
• Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office and good knowledge of CAD/DMU tools, preferably 3DEXPERIENCE
• Business-fluent English skills; German and/or Spanish knowledge is a plus
