In dieser Rolle verantworten Sie die operative Steuerung globaler Transportprozesse und agieren als zentrale Schnittstelle zwischen internen Fachbereichen und externen Transportdienstleistern.

Ihre Aufgaben

Sie arbeiten auf Governance-Ebene und stellen die Leistungsfähigkeit globaler Transportdienstleister sowie die Zufriedenheit interner Kunden sicher.

• Zentrale Schnittstelle zwischen den fachlichen Anforderungen des Business und externen Transportdienstleistern

• Operativer Eskalationspunkt und Vertreter der Business-Interessen in Logistikprojekten

• Steuerung und Überwachung globaler Transportdienstleister inklusive regelmäßiger Performance-Reviews entlang von SLA-, Kosten- und Qualitätskennzahlen

• Übergeordnete Kontrolle der Sendungsabwicklung mit Fokus auf Prozesssteuerung, Compliance und Governance

• Zentrale Ansprechperson für interne Bereiche wie Sales, Customer Order Desk und Procurement

• Übersetzung von Kundenanforderungen in belastbare Logistiklösungen

• Fachliche Verantwortung für komplexe Logistikfälle wie AOG, Übergrößen-/Sondertransporte und Projektladungen

• Vertretung der operativen Perspektive in bereichsübergreifenden Projekten und bei der Einführung neuer Prozesse und Tools

Ihr Profil

Sie verbinden fundierte Logistikexpertise mit Durchsetzungsfähigkeit und internationaler Zusammenarbeit.

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Supply Chain, Logistik oder vergleichbar

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in Supply Chain, Logistik, Lieferanten- oder Einkaufsmanagement

• Tiefgehendes Verständnis von Luft-, See-, Straßen- und Kuriertransporten inklusive Gefahrgut- und Zollprozessen

• Erfahrung im Management externer Logistikdienstleister

• Ausgeprägte Konfliktlösungs- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit

• Strukturierte, ergebnisorientierte Arbeitsweise

• Sicheres Auftreten in internationalen und multikulturellen Umfeldern

• Gute Kenntnisse in SAP/R3 sowie digitalen Kollaborationstools wie Google Workspace

• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse

In this role, you govern global transport operations by managing external partners, ensuring operational performance, and representing business needs across Airbus’ worldwide supply chain.

Your tasks

You operate beyond traditional dispatching, focusing on governance, performance, and stakeholder alignment across global transport operations.

• Act as the primary interface between business requirements and external transport service providers

• Serve as the operational escalation point and the voice of the business in logistics projects

• Manage and monitor global Transport Service Providers, including regular performance reviews against SLAs, cost, and quality targets

• Oversee high-level shipment execution as process controller, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations

• Act as primary transport partner for internal Sales, Customer Order Desk, and Procurement teams

• Translate customer requirements into effective logistics solutions and ensure the “Voice of the Customer” is reflected in operational decisions

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for complex logistics cases such as AOG, oversize/out-of-gauge shipments, and critical project cargo

• Represent operational business interests in cross-functional projects and support the deployment of new processes and tools

Your profile

You combine strong logistics expertise with governance skills and the ability to manage complex, international stakeholder environments.

• University degree in supply chain, logistics, or a comparable field

• Several years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics, supplier management, or procurement

• Deep understanding of air, ocean, road, and courier transport modes, including dangerous goods handling and customs procedures

• Experience in managing logistics service providers and operational performance

• Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to hold vendors accountable while maintaining a partnership-based approach

• Structured, solution-oriented and resilient working style

• Ability to work effectively across time zones and multicultural environments

• Confident use of SAP/R3 and digital collaboration tools such as Google Workspace

• Fluent English and German skills
