Project Management Officer A400M Development – Military Systems (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you will support project management activities within the A400M Development programme for the Capability Delivery Team focused on Military Systems. You will implement and monitor project management procedures, tools and governance, ensure process compliance and provide transparent reporting on time, cost, quality and performance.

Your tasks

• Apply strong project management expertise to influence stakeholders and maximise project achievement
• Manage project governance and ensure compliance with defined project management procedures and processes
• Perform detailed planning for work-package reviews, maintain the planning in Unified Planning as the official tool, analyse schedule clashes and ensure their resolution
• Conduct work-package reviews, identify performance shortfalls and scope changes, including within Earned Value Management
• Define relevant KPIs for time, cost, quality and performance, manage regular reporting and propose suitable mitigation or recovery actions
• Perform risk and opportunity management, keep ARM as the official tool up to date, follow up agreed actions and support the Maturity Gates process

Your profile

• A Master’s degree or Diplom in engineering is mandatory
• More than four years of professional experience in project management is required
• Previous experience as a Project Management Officer is required
• Business-fluent English skills are mandatory; additional language skills, such as German, are an advantage
• Experience with Google Workspace is an advantage, and experience with Unified Planning is a plus
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds and to collaborate effectively within an international team
