Der Stelleninhaber ist als AIT-Mechaniker in der Integration von Satelliten und Raumfahrtinstrumenten tätig und arbeitet an komplexen mechanischen und mechatronischen Baugruppen sowie an internationalen Testkampagnen.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Mitarbeit bei der Integration mechanischer und elektrischer Komponenten und Baugruppen im Bereich Instrumenten- und Satellitenintegration

• Montage, Überarbeitung und Funktionsprüfung von Vorrichtungen und Betriebsmitteln

• Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Umwelttests für Raumfahrtinstrumente und Satelliten

• Dokumentation der durchgeführten Arbeitsschritte nach Vorgaben und Abstimmung

• Mitarbeit bei nationalen und internationalen Testkampagnen

• Bereitschaft zu mehrmonatigen Einsätzen bei externen europäischen Testlaboren

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung, z. B. als Feinmechaniker, Industriemechaniker, Mechaniker oder in einem metallverarbeitenden Beruf

• Alternativ abgeschlossene Ausbildung im technischen Fertigungsumfeld mit entsprechender Berufserfahrung

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in Feinmechanik, Industriemechanik oder Messtechnik

• Erfahrung in der mechanischen Fertigung, im Umgang mit Verarbeitungswerkzeugen und Fertigungskontrolle

• Kenntnisse in der Kunststoffverarbeitung und Klebetechnik von Vorteil

• Erfahrung in der mechanischen Satellitenintegration sowie Kenntnisse gängiger Raumfahrt-Standards wünschenswert

• Selbstständige, strukturierte und qualitätsbewusste Arbeitsweise

• Hohe Einsatzbereitschaft, Lernbereitschaft und Verantwortungsbewusstsein

• Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit sowie hohe soziale Kompetenz

• Sicherer Umgang mit MS-Office

• Deutsch versiert

You will work in satellite and instrument integration, contributing to cutting-edge space projects and participating in international test campaigns across Europe.

Your tasks

• Integration of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies for satellite and instrument systems

• Assembly, modification and functional testing of tools, fixtures and ground support equipment

• Preparation and execution of environmental tests for space instruments and satellites

• Documentation of performed work steps according to defined procedures

• Participation in national and international test campaigns

• Willingness to take part in long-term assignments at external European test facilities

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a precision mechanic, industrial mechanic, mechanic or a comparable technical profession

• Alternatively, a technical manufacturing qualification with relevant professional experience

• Several years of experience in precision mechanics, industrial mechanics or metrology

• Experience in mechanical manufacturing processes, tools and quality inspection

• Knowledge of plastics processing and bonding techniques is an advantage

• Experience in mechanical satellite integration and aerospace standard procedures is a plus

• Independent, structured and quality-oriented working style

• High level of commitment, initiative and willingness to learn

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Confident use of MS Office

• Good German language skills
