Gesucht wird ein FEMI-Konstrukteur für die Entwicklung von Fertigungskonzepten und die Konstruktion von Fertigungsmitteln. Die Rolle umfasst Vorrichtungen für zivile und militärische Baumuster sowie die technische, terminliche und wirtschaftliche Steuerung der zugehörigen Projekte.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Erstellung von Fertigungskonzepten und Technologien zur innovativen und wirtschaftlichen Herstellung von Airbus-Produkten sowie Konstruktion der benötigten Fertigungsmittel
• Konstruktion und Entwicklung von Vorrichtungen für zivile und militärische Baumuster
• Eigenständige Erstellung von FEMI-Konzepten einschließlich Spezifikation
• Selbstständige Planung und Steuerung von Konstruktionsbüros sowie Überprüfung ihrer Leistungen hinsichtlich Qualität, Terminen und Kosten
• Simulation von Fertigungskonzepten im VR-Umfeld hinsichtlich fertigungsrelevanter Aspekte mit Unreal Engine
• Leitung von Teilprojekten innerhalb von FEMI-Projekten und Mitarbeit in integrierten Teams
• Kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung der Vorrichtungstechnologie zur Erhöhung der Effizienz und Optimierung der Tooling- und RC-Kosten
• Erstellung von Kosten- und Terminkalkulationen für FEMIs sowie Durchführung des Controllings
• Konstruktionsbegleitende Erstellung von CE-Dokumentationen nach den aktuellen Maschinenrichtlinien

Ihr Profil

• Mindestens Bachelorabschluss in Maschinenbau oder einem technischen Studiengang beziehungsweise eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mindestens auf Bachelor-Niveau
• Konstruktionserfahrung, bevorzugt in der Vorrichtungs- oder Bauteilkonstruktion, ist zwingend erforderlich
• Erfahrung in der Erstellung von Fertigungskonzepten sowie fundiertes Wissen in der Herstellung von Flugzeugstrukturen
• Detaillierte Spezialkenntnisse in MS Office, CATIA V4 und CATIA V5 sowie vertiefte Anwendungskenntnisse in SAP
• Erfahrung mit CADAM, DELMIA und Unreal Engine ist wünschenswert; Grundkenntnisse des CAPEX-Prozesses sind von Vorteil
• Gute Kenntnisse im Projektmanagement
• Deutsch und Englisch mindestens verhandlungssicher
• Kreativität, Teamfähigkeit, strukturierte Arbeitsweise, Belastbarkeit, Flexibilität und Reisebereitschaft

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

We are looking for a FEMI Design Engineer to develop manufacturing concepts and design manufacturing equipment. The role covers fixtures for civil and military aircraft types as well as the technical, scheduling and commercial management of the associated projects.

Your tasks

• Create manufacturing concepts and technologies for the innovative and economical production of Airbus products and design the required manufacturing equipment
• Design and develop fixtures for civil and military aircraft types
• Independently create FEMI concepts, including specifications
• Independently plan and manage design offices and review their performance regarding quality, schedules and costs
• Simulate manufacturing concepts in a virtual-reality environment regarding production-relevant aspects using Unreal Engine
• Lead subprojects within FEMI projects and collaborate in integrated teams
• Continuously develop fixture technology to increase efficiency and optimize tooling and RC costs
• Prepare cost and schedule calculations for FEMIs and perform controlling activities
• Prepare CE documentation alongside the design process in accordance with current machinery directives

Your profile

• At least a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a technical discipline, or a comparable qualification at least at bachelor’s level
• Design experience, preferably in fixture or component design, is mandatory
• Experience in creating manufacturing concepts and in-depth knowledge of aircraft structure manufacturing
• Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office, CATIA V4 and CATIA V5 as well as advanced practical knowledge of SAP
• Experience with CADAM, DELMIA and Unreal Engine is desirable; basic knowledge of the CAPEX process is advantageous
• Good knowledge of project management
• At least negotiation-level proficiency in German and English
• Creativity, teamwork, a structured working style, resilience, flexibility and willingness to travel
