System Engineer Qualification & Certification Flight Control Systems (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

As a System Engineer for Qualification and Certification of Flight Control Systems, you plan and coordinate qualification, certification and clearance activities. You prepare qualification documentation, harmonize evidence and support communication with the responsible airworthiness authorities.

Your tasks

• Prepare Flight Control System Qualification Programme Plans (FCS SysQPPs)
• Assess flight clearance requests to define the required qualification and certification activities
• Plan, integrate and harmonize clearance evidence from the FCS disciplines
• Prepare FCS System Clearance and Qualification Statements for EF development and series production aircraft, including PSQS, SQS, QU and SCS documents
• Support the verification process for FCS-related type acceptance documentation
• Prepare compliance matrices demonstrating fulfilment of the contractual FCS requirements for EF
• Coordinate queries from the Airworthiness Authority and provide the input required for the FCS National Dialogue with LufABw, EF GmbH and NETMA

Your profile

• Degree in aerospace engineering or a similar field of study, at least at Master’s or Diplom level
• Solid professional experience working in Multi-Functional Teams (MFT)
• Solid professional experience in qualification and certification
• Solid professional experience in requirements management
• Solid professional experience in airworthiness
• Solid professional experience with Flight Control Systems
• Detailed specialist knowledge of MS Office
• English at negotiation level; German is an advantage
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Pronounced team spirit and ability to work as part of a team
