IHRE AUFGABE - RESPONSIBILITIES
EN
- Provide Crew Systems engineering expertise and support to the design and development of Starlab space segment in an integrated and collaborative fashion, supporting design, development, and preparation of deliverables
- Contribute to Starlab Mission ConOps and OpsCon definition and refinement
- Analyze, assess, and make recommendations regarding Starlab Crew Systems design and development, for the following functions:
- General Habitability
- Crew Quarters / Sleep Stations
- Hygiene Provisions
- Food Prep and Galley Housekeeping
- Waste & Trash Management Stowage
- Restraints and Mobility Aids
- Maintenance Work Provisions
- Definition of Crew Systems functional, interface and performance requirements and flow down into related subsystem specifications
- Close collaboration with other Starlab teams: Crew Health and Medical System (H&MS),
- S&MA, SE&I, Robotics, Flight Crew, Ground Support, and Mission Operations teams
- Perform tailoring and tracking of Crew Systems Requirement
- Support definition and development of low-, medium-, and high-fidelity mock-ups concepts and requirements
- Support Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) test activities
- Support and participate in the HSI Working Group
- Contribute to associated RFIs/RFPs
- Participate in program reviews
- Perform other duties as agreed and required

IHR PROFIL - QUALIFICATIONS
DE
- Studium der Luft- und Raumfahrt oder der Elektrotechnik oder Mechatronik oder des Maschinenbaus oder der Informatik oder vergleichbar
- Erfahrung im Bereich Raumfahrzeugbetrieb/-technik, vorzugsweise mit Schwerpunkt auf bemannter Raumfahrt, Human Systems Integration oder Human Factors Engineering
- Kenntnisse über Raumfahrzeugsystem- und Subsystemarchitekturen sowie Missionsunterstützungskonzepte
- Erfahrung mit Human-in-the-Loop-Tests
- Fähigkeit, programmatische Aspekte wie technische Zeitpläne und Risiken zu definieren und zu unterstützen.
- Fähigkeit, technische Dokumentation zu erstellen und zu überprüfen, z. B. SPECs, IRD/ICD
- Erfahrung mit Systems Engineering-Prozessen und -Techniken, z.B. mit Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) und Tools (z. B. CAMEO), Requirements Engineering und Tools (DOORS, JAMA)
- Grundkenntnisse im computergestützten Design
- Fähigkeit zur Unterstützung von Integrations- und Testaktivitäten an Hardware und Software
- Effektiv in einem multidisziplinären und transnationalen Team arbeiten
- Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch verhandlungssicher, Englisch verhandlungssicher

- Studies in aerospace or electrical engineering or mechatronics or mechanical engineering or computer science or comparable
- Experience in spacecraft operations/engineering, preferably with a focus on manned spaceflight, human systems integration or human factors engineering
- Knowledge of spacecraft system and subsystem architectures and mission support concepts
- Experience with human-in-the-loop testing
- Ability to define and support programmatic aspects such as technical timelines and risks
- Ability to create and review technical documentation, e.g. B. SPECs, IRD/ICD
- Experience with Systems Engineering processes and techniques, e.g. with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools (e.g. CAMEO), Requirements Engineering and tools (DOORS, JAMA)
- Basic knowledge of computer-aided design
