AUFGABEN

Der Bereich Simulation Solutions ist verantwortlich für Design, Development und Deployment, sowie den Betrieb von Simulationssystemen für den militärischen Markt. Im Rahmen der Simsphere® Simulation Suite werden Sensor-Simulatoren erstellt, die es dem Nutzer ermöglichen, in Kombination mit anderen Simulatoren, ein komplexes Gesamtszenario zu simulieren und unter Performance-Kriterien zu verifizieren.

Um künftig hoch komplexe Sensor- und Effektor-Netzwerke simulieren zu können, werden die bestehenden Systemlösungen erweitert und an zukünftige Anforderungen angepasst:

• Mitwirkung bei der Software Architektur für Sensor-Simulation
• Abbildung und Modellierung komplexer Sensorik für Simulationsanwendungen
• Definition der Softwarekomponenten
• Design und Entwicklung von Softwarekomponenten
• Integration und Verifizierung von Softwarekomponenten
• Unterstützung bei der Durchführung von Design- und Code-Reviews
• Implementierung und Durchführung von Unit-Tests
• Entwicklung nach Software Development Plan und Standards
• Unterstützung bei Erarbeitung und Umsetzung von Konzepten für automatisiertes Testen und Deployment

QUALIFIKATIONEN

• Studium: Mathematik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation oder Informatik oder ein technisches Studium oder vergleichbar
• Berufserfahrung im Engineering und der Entwicklung
• IT Kenntnisse: MS-Office, fundierte Kenntnis der Software Entwicklung mit den Programmiersprachen C/C++, Java und Python
• Idealerweise bereits Erfahrung in der Simulation und mit Simulations-Frameworks (z.B. NVIDIA Omniverse)
• Grundlegende Programmierkenntnisse in Python wünschenswert
• Kenntnisse über Linux Systeme, Docker und Virtuelle Maschinen (VMs)
• Sprachkenntnisse: Deutsch mind. verhandlungssicher, Englisch mind. versiert

TASKS

The Simulation Solutions division is responsible for design, development and deployment, as well as the operation of simulation systems for the military market. As part of the Simsphere® Simulation Suite, sensor simulators are created that, in combination with other simulators, enable the user to simulate a complex overall scenario and verify it under performance criteria.

In order to be able to simulate highly complex sensor and effector networks in the future, the existing system solutions will be expanded and adapted to future requirements:

• Participation in the software architecture for sensor simulation
• Mapping and modeling complex sensor systems for simulation applications
• Definition of the software components
• Design and development of software components
• Integration and verification of software components
• Assist in conducting design and code reviews
• Implementation and execution of unit tests
• Development according to software development plan and standards
• Support in developing and implementing concepts for automated testing and deployment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Studies: Mathematics or comparable qualification or computer science or a technical degree or comparable
• Professional experience in engineering and development
• IT knowledge: MS Office, in-depth knowledge of software development with the programming languages C/C++, Java and Python
• Ideally, you already have experience in simulation and with simulation frameworks (e.g. NVIDIA Omniverse)
• Basic programming knowledge in Python desirable
• Knowledge of Linux systems, Docker and virtual machines (VMs)
• Language skills: at least business fluent in German, at least fluent in English
