We are looking for an Aerospace Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of propulsion for the Orion' program for a project assignment with our well-known and international customer in the AEROSPACE area in Bremen.

Wir suchen einen Luftfahrtingenieur (m/w/d) im Bereich Antrieb für das Orion-Programm für einen Projektauftrag mit unserem bekannten und internationalen Kunden im Bereich AEROSPACE in Bremen.

RESPONSIBILITIES - AUFGABE

For this exciting program a Propulsion Engineer - Technical Authority (d/f/m) is needed and will be part of the department System Architecture.

The jobholder of this position operationally reports to the Lead System Engineer or Propulsion Delivery Manager in the Orion project and will be responisble for:

- Contribute to develop, to design, to test, to qualify, to certify, to support, to improve sub-system, equipment, component or module during the whole project phases by ensuring the technical documents (RAMS, functional description, stress and test analysis)

- Analyze design & project requirements and perform trade off between various design solutions for propulsion subsystem and/or components

- Assess detailed performance of selected solution and its compliance with the specification

- Contribute to definition of performance requirements of lower level elements

- Analyze any deviations during the manufacturing phase and assess its acceptability

- Propose improvement and R&D actions within the space vehicle propulsion subsystems respective technical fields.

- Identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements

- Provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements

- Define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates

- Work closely sharing both industrial and functional design view, from the very early stages of the design through the serial production phase and up to the in- service life of the product (whole product lifecycle), working in close collaboration between the Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and any other disciplines involved throughout the whole product lifecycle Understand the organization, infrastructure, constraints and limitations of program industrial planning.

- Understand global systems/products and their interdependencies during industrialization phase

QUALIFICATIONS - PROFIL

- Degree in Aerospace or Engineering or similar

- Professional experience in engineering, manufacturing, quality management

- Experience in mission and safety critical applications

- Knowledge of equipment integration in subassemblies

- Knowledge of ECOSIM (basics), TermXL (basics), CATIA (basics), Matlab
- Language skills: English fluent in B2, German advanced A2

- Erfahrung in missions- und sicherheitskritischen Anwendungen

- Kenntnisse in ECOSIM (basics), TermXL (basics), CATIA (basics), Matlab

- Sprachkenntnisse: Englisch verhandlungssicher B2, Deutsch fortgeschritten A2
