A400M Manufacturing Engineer MRO (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you will support manufacturing engineering activities for A400M maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO). You will coordinate aircraft events, provide technical support throughout the maintenance process and contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing and repair processes.

Your tasks

• Prepare incoming A400M maintenance events, ensuring technical readiness, material availability, industrial resources, sequencing and scheduling
• Provide technical support throughout aircraft maintenance events and act as the technical focal point for engineering and CAMO interfaces
• Create and monitor service requests and coordinate their implementation with the relevant stakeholders
• Perform industrial feasibility analyses for repair concepts and technical solutions
• Define, optimize and support manufacturing and repair processes considering technical and economic aspects
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, finance, customer and programme management teams to ensure efficient MRO operations

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable discipline
• More than three years of experience in engineering, manufacturing engineering and the aerospace industry
• Sound knowledge of the A400M aircraft and practical experience in aircraft maintenance
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and SAP; experience with A400M tools such as OPAL, AIRN@V and MDS is desirable
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a customer-oriented and collaborative mindset
• Business fluent English; German skills are an advantage
