Technical Writer Courseware and Training Materials (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

You develop and write courseware for civil and military applications, including training manuals, interactive presentations and web-based content. Your responsibilities also include educational concepts, project management and revision and configuration management.

Your tasks

• Develop courseware for civil and military applications, including training manuals, interactive presentations and web-based content
• Create, author and actively write course and training materials
• Manage courseware development projects, including resource and budget planning and preparation of statements of work for suppliers
• Analyse customer enquiries
• Develop educational concepts
• Perform revision and configuration management

Your profile

• Completed technical degree at Bachelor’s level or higher, or alternatively a technician qualification with corresponding professional experience
• More than one year of professional experience in project management and more than one year in technical documentation
• No previous experience is required in aerospace or as a technical administrator; candidates with less than one year of experience in these areas are also eligible
• Relevant specialist experience and previous experience in helicopter production, maintenance or repair are desirable
• Advanced knowledge of XML technology, editorial systems or single-source publishing
• Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as 3D visualisation software
• Advanced practical knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of Google Suite and IT knowledge for software projects
• Negotiation-level English and basic German; French language skills are advantageous
• Teamwork and communication skills, customer orientation and a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong motivation to work in an international environment
