In dieser Rolle stellen Sie sicher, dass Konfigurationsmanagement-Prozesse über den gesamten Produkt- und Projektlebenszyklus hinweg wirksam angewendet werden und leisten damit einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Termin-, Kosten- und Leistungssicherheit komplexer Programme.

Kurzbeschreibung der Rolle

Sie verantworten Konfigurations- und Variantenmanagementaufgaben in internationalen Projekten und arbeiten eng mit Projektleitungen, Produktmanagement sowie internen und externen Partnern zusammen.

Ihre Aufgaben

Sie sind integraler Bestandteil von Projektkernteams und übernehmen Verantwortung für CM-relevante Inhalte.

  • Mitarbeit in internen und externen internationalen Projektteams sowie Koordination von Unterauftragnehmern und Kunden

  • Definition und Festlegung interner und externer Konfigurationsmanagement-Schnittstellen

  • Erstellung und Pflege von Konfigurationsmanagement-Plänen in deutscher und englischer Sprache

  • Sicherstellung der konsequenten Anwendung der Konfigurationsmanagement-Prozesse

  • Durchführung des internen und externen Änderungsmanagements inklusive Change Control Boards und Release Boards

  • Erstellung und Pflege von Produktstrukturen inklusive Identifikation von Konfigurationseinheiten

  • Abbildung der Produkt- und Konfigurationsstrukturen in den eingesetzten KM-Tools

  • Bildung von Baselines und Bauzustandsfestschreibungen

  • Erstellung von Statusberichten, Auswertungen und Übersichten zum Konfigurationsstand

Ihr Profil

Sie bringen methodische Stärke, Organisationstalent und Kommunikationssicherheit mit.

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium des Wirtschaftsingenieurwesens oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation (Bachelor oder höher)

  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung in Projektabwicklung und Konfigurationsmanagement

  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse gängiger KM-Standards (z. B. ISO 10007, EIA-649)

  • Erfahrung im Software-Konfigurationsmanagement und in Produktionsprozessen von Vorteil

  • Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office und SAP

  • Kenntnisse in SAP PLM sowie Serena Business Manager / Dimensions wünschenswert

  • Ausgeprägte Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeit

  • Hohes Maß an Verantwortungsbewusstsein, Belastbarkeit und Organisationsstärke

  • Fähigkeit, KM-Vorgaben durchzusetzen und weiterzuentwickeln

  • Erfahrung in der Präsentation vor internationalen Kunden und Partnern

  • Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse

In this role, you ensure the effective application of configuration management processes across the entire product and project lifecycle, contributing significantly to schedule, cost and performance stability.

Role summary

You take responsibility for configuration and variant management activities within international projects and work closely with project management, product management and internal and external stakeholders.

Your tasks

You are an integral part of project core teams and responsible for configuration-related activities.

  • Participation in internal and external international project teams and coordination of subcontractors and customers

  • Definition and alignment of internal and external configuration management interfaces

  • Creation and maintenance of configuration management plans in German and English

  • Ensuring proper application of configuration management processes

  • Execution of internal and external change management including Change Control Boards and Release Boards

  • Creation and maintenance of product structures and identification of configuration items

  • Mapping of configuration data within configuration management tools

  • Establishment of baselines and configuration status records

  • Preparation of status reports, analyses and configuration overviews

Your profile

You combine methodological expertise with strong communication and organizational skills.

  • University degree in industrial engineering or a comparable qualification (Bachelor or higher)

  • Several years of experience in project execution and configuration management

  • Strong knowledge of configuration management standards (e.g. ISO 10007, EIA-649)

  • Experience in software configuration management and production processes is an advantage

  • Confident use of MS Office and SAP

  • Knowledge of SAP PLM and Serena Business Manager / Dimensions is a plus

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in teams

  • High level of responsibility, resilience and organizational capability

  • Ability to implement and enforce configuration management requirements

  • Experience in presenting to international customers and partners

  • Fluent German and English skills
