IHRE AUFGABEN

Sie möchten in einem hochkarätigen IT-Security-Umfeld arbeiten und Netzwerke sowie Firewalls aktiv gestalten statt nur betreuen?
Dann verstärken Sie unser Team als Network & Firewall Engineer (m/w/d) und übernehmen Sie Verantwortung für die Planung, Administration und Weiterentwicklung sicherheitskritischer Netzwerkinfrastrukturen.
Ihre Aufgaben:

• Aufbau, Installation und Pflege von Firewall- und Netzwerkinfrastrukturen
• Sicherstellung einer performanten und stabilen Netzwerkinfrastruktur
• Analyse, Klassifizierung und Behebung komplexer Netzwerkprobleme (Incident Management)
• Mitarbeit in Change-, Release- und Configuration-Management-Prozessen
• Erstellung und Pflege technischer Dokumentationen
• Mitwirkung in Projekten im Bereich Netzwerksicherheit

IHR PROFIL

Ausbildung / Studium

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung, z. B. IT-Systemelektroniker/in oder vergleichbar
• Alternativ: Bachelor in Informatik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation

Berufserfahrung

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in Netzwerkadministration oder IT-Security
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Planung und Administration von Firewall- und Netzwerkinfrastrukturen
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Netzwerktechnik und TCP/IP
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in IPsec sowie Routing- und Switching-Protokollen (BGP, OSPF)
• Erfahrung im Netzwerk-Troubleshooting (tcpdump, Wireshark o. ä.)

IT

• MS Office – sichere Anwendung

Sprachkenntnisse

• Deutsch – verhandlungssicher
• Englisch – verhandlungssicher

Zusatzqualifikationen

• Führerschein Klasse B/3 vorhanden

YOUR TASKS

Then join our team as a Network & Firewall Engineer (m/f/d) and assume responsibility for the planning, administration, and further development of security-critical network infrastructures.
Your responsibilities:

• Setting up, installing, and maintaining firewall and network infrastructures
• Ensuring a high-performance and stable network infrastructure
• Analysis, classification, and resolution of complex network problems (incident management)
• Participation in change, release, and configuration management processes
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Participation in network security projects

YOUR PROFILE

Education / Studies

• Completed vocational training, e.g., IT systems electronics technician or equivalent
• Alternatively: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification

Professional Experience

• Several years of experience in network administration or IT security
• Excellent knowledge of planning and administering firewall and network infrastructures
• In-depth knowledge of network technology and TCP/IP
• Excellent knowledge of IPsec as well as routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Experience in network troubleshooting (tcpdump, Wireshark, or similar)

IT

• MS Office – secure application

Language Skills

• Fluent in German
• Fluent in English
