Design Assurance Manager / Aerospace Certification (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

You will support design organisation approval activities in an aerospace development environment and act at the interface between engineering, compliance, authorities and internal stakeholders.

Your tasks
• Manage and further develop approvals for the design organisation, including extensions and new privileges
• Act as central interface for aviation authorities in all DOA-related topics
• Support compliance demonstration of development manuals and manage related changes
• Ensure that checklists, procedures, methods and tools support regulatory conformity
• Coordinate process approvals, supplier-related DOA topics and qualification activities
• Support strategic certification, safety and rule-making activities in an international environment

Your profile
• Master’s degree or diploma in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in design engineering and project management in an aerospace environment
• Strong understanding of design organisation processes, certification topics and development workflows
• Experience with design office activities, airworthiness topics or authority-related coordination is an advantage
• Business fluent English skills and confident communication across functions and stakeholder levels
• Structured, proactive and solution-oriented working style with strong organisational skills
