Für eine Tätigkeit im Bereich IT Infrastructure & Development Support suchen wir Sie als IT Support Engineer (m/w/d) – Infrastructure & Development Platform.
In dieser Funktion sind Sie verantwortlich für den stabilen Betrieb und die Weiterentwicklung der IT-Entwicklungsplattformen, einschließlich Server, Netzwerk, Storage und Benutzerverwaltung.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Sicherstellung des reibungslosen Betriebs der Entwicklungsumgebung für Server, Storage, Clients und Netzwerke

• Automatisierung von Konfigurationseinstellungen und Deployments für Server und Clients

• Umsetzung von Anforderungen der IT-Sicherheitsrichtlinien nach BSI IT-Grundschutz

• Automatisierung von Update-Prozessen für Server- und Client-Systeme

• Konfiguration, Deployment und Administration der Test- und Integrationsanlagen in Friedrichshafen

• Verwaltung und Kontrolle von Backups

• Erstellung technischer Dokumentation

• Zusammenarbeit mit internen IT-Dienstleistern (Netzwerk, IT-Security)

• Steuerung externer IT-Dienstleister bei Bedarf

• Unterstützung bei der Abstimmung technischer Anforderungen mit Projektteams

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informationstechnologie oder Informatik (mind. Bachelor) oder vergleichbare Qualifikation

• Erfahrung im Support und in der Konfiguration von Netzwerken (inkl. Network Time Protocol, NTP)

• Fundierte Kenntnisse in IT-Infrastruktur, Betriebssystemen (Windows, Linux), Active Directory, Group Policies, LDAP, DNS, CI/CD

• Erfahrung im Bereich Virtualisierung (VMware-Produkte) wünschenswert

• Kenntnisse in IT-Sicherheit von Vorteil

• Erfahrung im Umgang mit modernen Tools wie Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins

• Programmier- oder Scriptingkenntnisse (z. B. PowerShell, Bash, Python) zur Automatisierung

• Deutsch: verhandlungssicher

• Englisch: verhandlungssicher

• Analytische Denkweise und Fähigkeit zur Problemlösung

• Teamorientierte, zuverlässige Arbeitsweise

• Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Dienstreisen

IT Support Engineer (f/m/d) – Infrastructure & Development Platform

For an assignment in IT Infrastructure & Development Support, we are looking for a IT Support Engineer (f/m/d) – Infrastructure & Development Platform.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement of IT development environments, including servers, networks, storage systems and user management.

Your tasks

• Ensure smooth operation of development environments for servers, storage, clients and networks

• Automate configuration settings and deployments for servers and clients

• Implement IT security requirements in line with BSI IT-Grundschutz

• Automate update processes for server and client systems

• Configure, deploy and administer test and integration facilities in Friedrichshafen

• Manage and monitor backups

• Prepare technical documentation

• Collaborate with internal IT service providers (network, IT security)

• Manage external IT service providers as needed

• Support coordination with projects regarding technical requirements and platform provisioning

Your profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent qualification (at least Bachelor’s level)

• Experience in network support and configuration (including Network Time Protocol, NTP)

• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, operating systems (Windows, Linux), Active Directory, Group Policies, LDAP, DNS, CI/CD

• Experience with virtualization (VMware products) desirable

• Knowledge of IT security advantageous

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins

• Scripting or programming skills (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation

• Fluent in German and English

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Team-oriented and structured working style

• Willingness to travel occasionally
