Als Software Architect (m/w/d) entwickeln und dokumentieren Sie Softwarearchitekturen für IoT- und Connectivity-Funktionen. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf End-to-End-Architekturkonzepten für Full-Stack-Anwendungen sowie auf der Definition und Abstimmung von Schnittstellen und Systemspezifikationen.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Entwicklung und Dokumentation von Softwarearchitekturen und Konzepten
• Definition von Softwarearchitekturen für IoT- und Connectivity-Funktionen
• Definition von End-to-End-Architekturkonzepten für Full-Stack-Softwareanwendungen wie mobile Anwendungen, Backend-Anwendungen, IoT-Dashboards und vernetzte intelligente Geräte
• Management der Schnittstellenanforderungen zwischen verschiedenen Software- und Hardwareprodukten
• Erstellung funktionaler Spezifikationen und Systemspezifikationen für Lieferanten
• Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Architekturteams, um die Erfüllung der Anforderungen durch die Softwarelösungen sicherzustellen

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder Wirtschaftsinformatik mindestens auf Bachelor-Niveau
• Mehr als vier Jahre Berufserfahrung, davon mehr als drei Jahre in der Softwarearchitektur im Bereich IT beziehungsweise Informationssysteme
• Mindestens gute Kenntnisse im Change Management; Kenntnisse agiler Methoden sind von Vorteil
• Erfahrung mit Jira und Confluence sowie Kenntnisse in Google Workspace
• Erfahrung mit dem Scaled Agile Framework und Containerisierung, beispielsweise mit Docker, Kubernetes oder virtuellen Maschinen, ist von Vorteil
• Kenntnisse von Netzwerkprotokollen und -diensten, Kommunikations- und Messaging-Protokollen, z. B. MQTT, Datenmodellierung, PHY-/MAC-Layer-Protokollen sowie Netzwerksicherheitsprotokollen sind von Vorteil
• Direkte Erfahrung mit Softwareprodukten für die kommerzielle Luftfahrt ist von Vorteil
• Mindestens verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
• Sehr gute Kommunikations- und Organisationsfähigkeiten sowie analytisches Denken und ein sicherer Umgang mit Zahlen
• Selbstständige und proaktive Arbeitsweise sowie Sozialkompetenz und Teamfähigkeit

As a Software Architect, you will develop and document software architectures for IoT and connectivity features. Your work will focus on end-to-end architecture concepts for full-stack applications and on defining and coordinating interfaces and system specifications.

Your tasks

• Design and document software architectures and concepts
• Define software architectures for IoT and connectivity features
• Define end-to-end architecture concepts for full-stack software applications such as mobile applications, backend applications, IoT dashboards and connected smart devices
• Manage interface requirements between different software and hardware products
• Provide functional and system specifications for suppliers
• Collaborate with other architecture teams to ensure that software solutions meet the requirements

Your profile

• Completed degree in computer science or business informatics at a minimum of bachelor’s level
• More than four years of professional experience, including more than three years in software architecture within IT or information systems
• At least good knowledge of change management; knowledge of agile methods is an advantage
• Experience with Jira and Confluence and knowledge of Google Workspace
• Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework and containerization, such as Docker, Kubernetes or virtual machines, is an advantage
• Knowledge of network protocols and services, communication and messaging protocols such as MQTT, data modelling, PHY/MAC layer protocols and network security protocols is an advantage
• Direct experience working with commercial aviation software products is an advantage
• At least negotiation-level German and English
• Very good communication and organizational skills, analytical thinking and confidence in working with numbers
• Independent and proactive approach to work, social skills and the ability to work in a team
