Als Senior Softwareentwickler entwickeln und integrieren Sie automatisierte Produktions- und Kundentestsysteme für Radar-, Electronic-Warfare- und Avioniksysteme in Fahrzeugen, Flugzeugen, Helikoptern und Schiffen. Die Testsysteme basieren auf Testmanagern wie TestStand und binden unter anderem LabVIEW- und LabWindows-Applikationen sowie in C++ entwickelte Software ein.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Entwicklung von Treibern für die Nutzung in Gesamtsystemen gemäß den internen Softwareentwicklungsstandards.
• Entwicklung von Tools und frameworkunabhängiger Supportsoftware für Projekte.
• Umsetzung externer und interner Anforderungen in Modulfunktionalitäten sowie Redesign komplexer Module, z. B. nach Funktionsänderungen.
• Mitarbeit bei Code-Reviews sowie Erstellung von Design- und Prüfspezifikationen und Prüfabläufen.
• Technische Abstimmung mit der relevanten Fachabteilung und Dokumentation der Software in der geforderten Sprache Deutsch oder Englisch.
• Analyse und Behebung von Störungen und Fehlern.
• Eigenverantwortliche Bearbeitung der übernommenen Arbeitspakete.

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium der Physik, Elektrotechnik oder Informatik mit mindestens Bachelorabschluss oder vergleichbare Qualifikation mit mindestens Bachelorabschluss.
• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von Testsystemen mit der NI Toolchain, z. B. NI LabVIEW oder NI TestStand, ist von Vorteil.
• Erfahrung mit Versionsverwaltungssystemen wie z. B. Git ist wünschenswert.
• Kenntnisse in der Messtechnik, z. B. optische Messsysteme sowie Analog- und Digitalmesstechnik.
• Kenntnisse in der Hochfrequenzmesstechnik, z. B. S-Parameter-Messung.
• Mindestens verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
• Gute kommunikative Fähigkeiten in der bereichsübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit.
• Selbstständige Arbeitsweise, Koordinations- und Integrationsfähigkeit sowie Durchsetzungsvermögen.
• Freude an der Teamarbeit und am Finden innovativer Lösungen.
• Bereitschaft zu gelegentlichen Dienstreisen.

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer HENSOLDT, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will develop and integrate automated production and customer test systems for radar, electronic warfare and avionics systems used in vehicles, aircraft, helicopters and ships. The test systems are based on test managers such as TestStand and incorporate LabVIEW and LabWindows applications as well as software developed in C++.

Your tasks

• Develop drivers for use in overall systems in accordance with internal software development standards.
• Develop tools and framework-independent support software required for projects.
• Implement external and internal requirements in module functionalities and redesign complex modules, for example following functional changes.
• Participate in code reviews and create design specifications, test specifications and test procedures.
• Coordinate technical matters with the relevant specialist department and document the software in the required language, German or English.
• Analyze and resolve malfunctions and errors.
• Independently complete assigned work packages.

Your profile

• Completed degree in physics, electrical engineering or computer science at a minimum of bachelor’s level, or a comparable qualification at a minimum of bachelor’s level.
• Several years of experience in developing test systems with the NI toolchain, e.g. NI LabVIEW or NI TestStand, is an advantage.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git is desirable.
• Knowledge of measurement technology, e.g. optical measurement systems and analog and digital measurement technology.
• Knowledge of radio-frequency measurement technology, e.g. S-parameter measurement.
• German and English language skills at a minimum of business-fluent level.
• Good communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
• An independent working style, coordination and integration skills, and assertiveness.
• Enjoyment of teamwork and finding innovative solutions.
• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
