Für eine Tätigkeit im Bereich Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) suchen wir Sie als Junior AIT Engineer (m/w/d) – Galileo Satellite Program.
In dieser Rolle unterstützen Sie die Integration und Testaktivitäten im Rahmen des europäischen Satellitennavigationsprogramms Galileo und wirken an der Verifikation und Validierung von Satellitensystemen mit.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Entwicklung und Durchführung von Funktionstests in AIT-Satellitenprogrammen

• Unterstützung bei der Erstellung und Überprüfung von Testspezifikationen

• Mitarbeit bei der Definition, Entwicklung und Durchführung von Testprozeduren

• Unterstützung bei elektrischen Integrationsaktivitäten von Satelliten und Subsystemen

• Aufbereitung und Auswertung von Testdaten sowie Bewertung der Ergebnisse gegenüber dem Kunden

• Dokumentation der Testergebnisse und Erstellung von Testberichten

• Unterstützung des Betriebs des Satelliten bzw. Instruments

• Analyse und Dokumentation der Satellitenkonfiguration

• Unterstützung bei der Fehleranalyse (NCR-Untersuchungen)

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Technische Informatik oder vergleichbares technisches Studium (mind. Bachelor)

• Erste Berufserfahrung (1–2 Jahre) im Bereich funktionales Satelliten-AIT

• Kenntnisse im Bereich Verschlüsselung von Satellitenkommunikation wünschenswert

• Erfahrung mit TM/TC-Protokollen (PUS) sowie Kenntnis der ECSS-Standards von Vorteil

• Gute Kenntnisse in Unix sowie MS Office, Erfahrung mit Java von Vorteil

• Deutsch: verhandlungssicher

• Englisch: verhandlungssicher

• Teamplayer mit ausgezeichneten Kommunikationsfähigkeiten

Junior AIT Engineer (f/m/d) – Galileo Satellite Program

For an assignment in the field of Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT), we are looking for a Junior AIT Engineer (f/m/d) – Galileo Satellite Program.
In this role, you will support integration and test activities within the European Galileo satellite navigation program and contribute to the verification and validation of satellite systems.

Your tasks

• Develop and perform functional tests in AIT satellite programs

• Support the preparation and review of test specifications

• Assist in defining, developing and executing test procedures

• Support electrical integration activities for satellites and subsystems

• Process and evaluate test data and provide results to customers

• Document test results and prepare test reports

• Support satellite and instrument operations

• Analyse and document satellite configurations

• Contribute to failure analysis (NCR investigations)

Your profile

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Technical Computer Science or a comparable technical field (at least Bachelor’s level)

• 1–2 years of professional experience in functional satellite AIT

• Knowledge of satellite communication encryption desirable

• Experience with TM/TC protocols (PUS) and ECSS standards advantageous

• Good knowledge of Unix and MS Office, experience with Java beneficial

• Fluent in German and English

• Team player with excellent communication skills

• Service- and customer-oriented mindset with strong sense of responsibility

• High assertiveness and flexibility

• Willingness to travel within Europe and to work occasional shifts
