Software Engineer Simulation & C++ (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

You will contribute to the development of simulation and validation frameworks with a focus on high-performance software, distributed systems and modern architectures.

Your tasks
• Design, implement and test high-performance C++ applications and libraries
• Develop and maintain cross-platform software solutions for Unix/Linux and Windows environments
• Manage and optimize build systems using CMake
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and integrate system components
• Contribute to simulation tools and frameworks in complex technical environments
• Implement and integrate distributed communication using gRPC and modern service architectures

Your profile
• Degree in computer science, software engineering or a comparable technical field
• Strong experience in C++ (C++17 or newer) and systems-level programming
• Experience with cross-platform development in Unix/Linux and Windows environments
• Knowledge of software architecture, scalability and performance optimization
• Experience with CMake, version control systems and modern development workflows
• Fluent English skills, German knowledge is an advantage
