Buyer Cabin Procurement (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you will support procurement activities for cabin equipment within Airbus Commercial aircraft programmes. You will manage supplier relationships, contract execution and commercial negotiations while contributing to the optimization of supply chain performance and procurement processes.

Your tasks

• Manage procurement activities, tender processes and commercial negotiations to achieve optimal purchasing conditions
• Monitor supplier contracts throughout the product lifecycle and ensure compliance with agreed contractual terms
• Manage supplier performance regarding logistics, quality, costs and support while driving continuous improvements
• Build and maintain day-to-day supplier relationships and implement initiatives to optimize customer value and minimize risks
• Contribute to cross-functional and cross-divisional teams during tendering, contract execution and contract management
• Lead commercial negotiations related to product changes within the assigned procurement portfolio

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Quality or a comparable discipline
• More than two years of experience in procurement and supply chain as well as several years of experience in strategic and operational purchasing and contract management
• Good knowledge of project management, process management and risk management
• Good user knowledge of SAP, MS Excel, MS Word and Google Workspace
• Airbus experience is desirable; knowledge of finance is an advantage
• Business fluent English; German skills are an advantage
