Test Engineer Flight Control & Flight Management Systems (m/w/d) – AIRBUS

For more than 25 years, HESYS Engineering has connected technical specialists with demanding assignments for customers in aerospace, defence and high-tech. For our customer AIRBUS, we are looking for a suitable candidate.

In this role, you work on integration and verification activities for flight control and flight management systems. The focus is on IV planning, verification strategy, test definition, bench validation, test execution, requirements traceability and documentation in a safety-critical aerospace environment.

Your tasks

• Create integration and verification plans for L2 and L3 activities
• Define verification strategies and allocate means of compliance to functional requirements
• Support test bench development and verification, including L3 bench validation processes
• Define and execute system and hardware/software integration tests on test rigs
• Evaluate test results, analyse signal graphs and prepare test reports after test phases
• Review test documentation and maintain macros for test script generation

Your profile

• Master’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable field
• Knowledge of flight control systems is required
• Mandatory experience with SCADE model-based testing, model coverage analysis and DOORS
• Detailed MS Office knowledge and good understanding of requirements traceability and verification matrices
• Good knowledge of DO-178/DO-331 verification processes and ARP-4754 is beneficial
• Business-fluent English skills; German knowledge is beneficial
