Für unsere OPTARION®-Produktfamilie im Umfeld Softwareentwicklung suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen Systemingenieur (m/w/d) – Missionssysteme am Standort Immenstaad.

Der funktionsübergreifende OPTARION® Agile Release Train bietet innovative Lösungen entlang des gesamten Product Lifecycles – von der Ermittlung der Kundenanforderungen über Konzeption und Entwicklung bis hin zur Integration beim Endkunden.
In dieser Position wirken Sie aktiv an der Weiterentwicklung der neuesten Generation von Missionssystemen mit und übernehmen Verantwortung für Architektur, Konzeption und Implementierung systemübergreifender Erweiterungen.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Ableitung und Konzeption der Systemarchitektur auf Basis von Kunden- und Vertragsanforderungen

• Überführung von Anforderungen in technische Konzepte (Epics/User Stories)

• Verantwortung für interne Abstimmungen und technische Bewertungen über Teamgrenzen hinweg

• Durchführung von technischen Prototypen/Durchstichen zur Überprüfung von Lösungsideen

• Schnittstelle zum Kunden (auch vor Ort) bei Konzept- und Entwicklungsfragen

• Erstellung und Nutzung von Systemschnittstellen für Missionsplanung und Drittsysteme

• Durchführung systemweiter Fehleranalysen und Troubleshooting

• Berücksichtigung von Security- und Verschlüsselungsanforderungen im Systemdesign

Ihr Profil

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informatik, Naturwissenschaften oder vergleichbar (mind. Bachelor)

• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in System- und Softwareentwicklung

• Kenntnisse im Bereich Infrastructure as Code (IaC), idealerweise mit DSC (Desired State Configuration)

• Erfahrung im Umgang mit PowerShell, Linux und Security-/Encryption-Themen wünschenswert

• Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office

• Deutsch: verhandlungssicher

• Englisch: verhandlungssicher

• Analytische, eigenverantwortliche und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise

• Hohe Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Teamorientierung

System Engineer (f/m/d) – Mission Systems / OPTARION® Software Development

For our OPTARION® product family in the field of software development, we are looking for a System Engineer (f/m/d) – Mission Systems at our customer’s site in Immenstaad.

The cross-functional OPTARION® Agile Release Train delivers innovative solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle – from capturing customer needs and defining requirements to development, implementation, and system integration.
In this role, you will contribute to shaping the next generation of mission systems by defining system architectures and implementing cross-functional technical concepts.

Your tasks

• Derive and design system architectures based on customer and contractual requirements

• Translate requirements into technical concepts (Epics/User Stories)

• Coordinate technical implementation assessments across teams

• Implement technical prototypes to validate solution concepts

• Act as interface to the customer (including on-site support) for concept and development topics

• Specify and manage system interfaces for mission planning and third-party systems

• Conduct system-wide troubleshooting and root cause analysis

• Ensure compliance with security and encryption requirements

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (at least Bachelor’s level)

• Several years of experience in system and software development

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally with DSC (Desired State Configuration)

• Knowledge of PowerShell, Linux, and security/encryption concepts desirable

• Proficient in MS Office

• Fluent in German and English

• Analytical, solution-oriented and proactive working style

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• High sense of responsibility, resilience and organizational ability
