For a project assignment with our well-known international customer AIRBUS in Manching, we are seeking you as an Eurodrone System Engineer for the Mission System.

TASKS

• Ability to contribute to all Systems engineering activities in order to deliver safe, reliable, mature and cost effective solutions to the customers
• Ability to analyze customer requirements for transformation into a design solution
• Ability to specify, define, design, develop, integrate, verify, qualify, certify and ensure the continued airworthiness of the vehicle mission systems used to perform different kind of missions
• Responsibility for the integration and management of specific equipment and systems (both airborne and ground segments, at hardware and functional level) necessary in the system to perform its intended missions
• Ability to specify and carry out all the laboratory, ground and flight tests and support documentation required for the development, certification and validation in front of the customer of the Mission Systems, Mission Planning and Mission Support Systems, including On-site Operational Evaluations
• Ability to provide systems engineering support for the full lifecycle of Mission Systems
• Capability to assess innovative technologies and architectures, to deliver independent cost benefit analysis (manufacturer & operator related)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Master's degree in physics or a Master's degree in aerospace or electrical engineering or a Master's degree in computer science.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in engineering, at least 4 years in aerospace.
• Professional experience in systems engineering is essential.
• Experience in implementing regulations and standards such as DO178/278, 254, ARP4754, etc. is required.
• Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) is required.
• IT: MS Office (at least detailed specialized knowledge), doors (at least detailed knowledge). Specialized knowledge
• Knowledge of IT system design and requirements management (using DOORS), including other disciplines such as software development, is essential.
• Experience with digital ICD design tools (e.g., CAMEO, ICDMS, or others) is an advantage.
• Experience with agile methods and tools (e.g., JIRA and Confluence) is recommended.
• Language skills: English, fluent; German is recommended.
